This two story house was constructed by a local surfer/builder in the 80s and is being lovingly transformed into an ideal Northern NSW escape! So expect a mix of modern (wifi, brand new bathroom, new beds, furniture, new appliances) with some quaint ol' country charm (fire place, exposed beams, front porch, swaying trees etc). Situated on the edge of the Yuraygir National Park and 60 second walk from stunning Lake Wooloweyah (the sunset stroll is a must!) Three mins drive to Angourie Pt. The space As a lifelong global traveller, I can say with all my heart the Wooloweyah, Yamba and Angourie region is truly special. And it's been a dream to have somewhere in the area to call home! The various beaches are simply stunning, and each is unique in its own way. There's plenty of wildlife. The nearby freshwater Blue Pools and Green Pools are awesome for swimming and jumping off the rocks. (kids love it!) The surrounding national park and the lake help retain the tranquility (and keep tourist crowds to a minimum). Anyone who knows the area, loves it! There's amazing surf, an 18 hole golf course, fishing, great restaurants, a handfull of bars and pubs, local skate park, shopping centre (10mins drive back into town) and everything else you might expect in a gorgeous coastal country town. As for the house itself, we hope you love it. Over time, we will continue to transform our dream home - for now, we're stoked with the progress and hope you enjoy it too! Guest access It's a pretty big house! The three bedrooms are located upstairs, all different and unique in their size and positioning. There is a smart television with wifi enabled internet/Netflix capabilities in the upstairs mezzanine area. You can access the backyard if need be, which is suitable zone for furry friend or pet. A washing machine and dryer are located in the laundry. One downstairs room is closed, inaccessible, and being used as a store room. But otherwise, the house is clean, spacious and ready for you to make yourself comfortable! PS: and brand new latex Queen mattresses ... heaven! Other things to note Towels and linen are available. The wifi password is on the fridge. There is a new washing machine (and a dryer) you are welcome to use, located in the garage/laundry and a clothesline (in the back yard) and drying rack inside. Please note: Firewood is an additional expense. Most service stations sell bags for around $20 or more.
