Description

A quaint, cosy, dog-friendly shepherd's hut for two surrounded by fields and hedgerows in an area of outstanding natural beauty. Escape here to switch off your phones, read, write and have long walks. The setting for this lovely Hideaway is magical, secluded, and peaceful. Sit and admire the island views and watch the sun go down from your little pocket of heaven. The space Ynys Hideout has been created beautifully, simply, and comfortably. An open-plan space with a wood stove for winter warmth, a practical kitchen area with a gas cooker and tiny fridge, two comfy chairs, and a double bed. Hop outside to the shower and WC hut to experience a hot shower in the morning. At night the twinkling lights add to the charm. There are horses in the meadow beyond the shepherd's hut and the most amazing fire pit to roast some food on or simply enjoy the blaze of warmth as you stargaze in this magical dark skies location. The privacy of the secluded garden allow guests to savour the quiet surroundings whether this be while sunbathing or birdwatching. Heavenly walks start at the door - you can stride out for hedgerow and mountain walks or drive to a great handful of pubs with a five-mile radius. Cycling to the beaches at Moelfre or Lligwy is a doddle. You are tucked away in this private and secluded spot on the owners’ farm. There’s another cabin across the charming farmyard for larger groups who want to stay nearby. Eating out is a pleasure with cafes and pubs just down the road a few miles away. Lligwy Beach café is worth a visit. At Red Wharf Bay, The Ship Inn is a very popular waterfront pub serving good food. And The Old Boathouse Restaurant is perfect too – an amazing seafood restaurant and café – this is the place for breakfast if sausages on the fire are getting boring! Beaumaris has a myriad of independent shops, cafes, and restaurants; together with its medieval castle and Victorian pier, it makes for a great day out. The Copper Mine at Amlwch is a fascinating trip with the “moonscape” landscape and walks to help shift the cream teas. Take a 10-minute drive to the beaches of Lligwy or Moelfre for a day of dolphin spotting and exploring. Return to Ynys Hideout to marvel at the stars, sleep soundly, and then wake to a burst of vibrant birdsong. A cosy dog-friendly shepherd's hut located in a paddock with horses grazing close and an electric fence. Two small dogs welcome 1 double bed. A corrugated shower shed is a walk away from the hut over the grass paddock. One shower, WC and sink. Kitchen area - consists of a small fridge with room for milk and small items only.
