Martin and Rod welcome you to their beautiful corner of the Limousin, nestled on the border of the Dordogne and Charente. Come and relax in our luxurious 2-bedroom gite, complete with all the amenities necessary for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. We want to provide the type of holiday we would enjoy ourselves and take pride in the quality of our accommodation. You are assured of a warm welcome and we are always on hand to give advice on local sites, walks and amenities. The space Set in a tiny hamlet amongst countryside which is a haven for wildlife, but just 2km from the local village which has a supermarket, two bakeries and a pharmacy, you'll benefit from tranquillity without isolation. The local village (Saint-Mathieu) can easily be reached by bike (which we can provide), or on foot using easy paths that take you through the local woodland. The gite has two spacious bedrooms; the one to the front has a Super king bed with luxury memory foam mattress, whilst the other has a large double bed with Hypnos pocket sprung mattress. All bedding and towels are provided and are of high quality. There’s a nicely appointed bathroom with a good shower (so important) The main living area is opened plan. There's a well-equipped kitchen stocked with cutlery, crockery, glassware and utensils to cover all needs during your stay, a designated dining area and a very comfortable lounge with French and English satellite TV and DVD player. The gite has its own designated wi-fi. Guest access There is off-road parking in front of the property and you’ll have use of our garden and a private dining terrace to the side of the gite during your stay.
