Room "La Volta" in the countryside

Double room in a shared house with other guests. It’s a room with a small window and little natural light, ideal for young travellers. In a privileged location, with a swimming pool next to a thousand-year-old church, just 5 minutes from Besalú. The door is old and locks from the outside with a padlock and from the inside with a latch. The décor is simple and very rustic; don’t expect a hotel. The space Take a swim in the pool while gazing at the Romanesque church from the 12th century, just across the garden. On winter days, the snow-covered Pyrenees can be seen in the distance, creating a dreamlike landscape. Let yourself be surrounded by the calm, nature and serenity of the setting. The house is spacious and welcoming, with large rooms and a rustic, authentic atmosphere. It is located in the small and charming village of Dosquers, only five minutes from Besalú, half an hour from the beaches of the Costa Brava and thirty minutes from Girona. Guest access Guests share three bathrooms, as well as the living rooms, garden, and pool. There is also a shared kitchen available, although it is recommended to enjoy one of the good local restaurants. The kitchen is not designed for all guests to cook at the same time. Other things to note Dogs are welcome, but they must be leashed in the common areas inside the house (kitchen, dining room,...) to avoid problems with Katia, the cat of the house, and to avoid disturbing other guests. La Volta: Very rustic and authentic. Double bed (160cm*200cm). In winter, we recommend bringing a warm sweater. Nevertheless, we keep the spacious dining room warm, with a large 8-metre-long table, suitable for dining and working on a laptop. From 5:00 pm onwards, we also heat the bedrooms.
