Ideal for 2 guests, our spacious and serene casita features one bedroom with a queen bed, private bathroom, a living room with TV and WiFi, a small work space, and complete kitchen. The casita shares a large open patio with owner’s home, featuring amazing views of the Santa Rita Mountains, plenty of seating, an outdoor dining table, and BBQ. The Tubac Golf Resort is a short 0.6 mile walk or drive, Tubac Village and the Tubac Presidio are about 1.5 miles, and Tumacacori Mission is 4.5 miles. Guests may use any part of the guest house and the shared patio. There is ample outdoor seating, an outdoor dining area, a fire pit, and a bbq. The owner’s home and garage are off-limits. Guests may access the guest house, shared patio, and parking area. We usually stock the guest house with a bottle of wine and coffee for guests to enjoy. Owners are often home and available to answer questions or offer suggestions about things to do in the area. If owners are not home, guests are welcome to call or text with questions and we will get back to you as soon as possible. The Tubac Golf Resort is a short 0.6 mile walk or drive, Tubac Village and the Tubac Presidio are about 1.5 miles, and Tumacacori is 4.5 miles. For guests interested in day trips to Mexico, Nogales is a short 20 minute drive, and Magdalena de Kino is about 1 hour 40 minutes. Ample parking is available on the property. It is recommended that guests park behind house near garage. While in Tubac, guests may enjoy walking or birdwatching along the Santa Cruz River on the De Anza trail; exploring the numerous dirt roads and trails in the Tumacacori and Santa Rita Mountains; golfing at the nearby Tubac Golf Resort and Spa; or wandering through the shops of Tubac. There are countless other activities to enjoy in southern Arizona, and owners are happy to provide suggestions. Tubac features a small market where guests may buy food and any other basic items. Larger grocery stores are about 15 minutes away in Rio Rico and Green Valley. There are several restaurants in Tubac with a range of food options.
