Relax with the whole family (including your dog!) at this peaceful village cottage in Dunning, the Heart of Perthshire. Lorien Cottage is a hidden treasure situated along a quiet lane. This superb 3-bedroom cottage ideally sleeps 6 people and has been recently furnished for families and couples as a base to enjoy the surrounding area. Your dogs are very welcome downstairs - please keep them off the furniture. The space Spanning 2 floors, Lorien Cottage has 2 beautiful living areas on the ground floor and 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms upstairs. On the ground floor, the large cosy kitchen living area with a dining table comfortably sitting 8 people is perfect for gathering together. With a gas fired aga at one end and a large setee at the other, this area is simply perfect for daytime activities. Next door, the small snug with sky TV and a woodburning stove is perfect to get cosy with a glass of mulled wine or a hot chocolate. Upstairs there are 3 beautifully appointed bedrooms sleeping 6 people. Bedroom 1 has a superking size bed. Bedroom 2 is a double bedroom and has an ensuite. Bedroom 3 has 2 single beds and there is also a main bathroom with large walk-in shower area. Outside, there is a small garden with a sit-oot-erie (a comfortable covered area for sitting outside) with a BBQ and garden furniture. There is a washing line. The ariel photograph looks like there is a hot tub….there is NO hot tub! Guest access Park your car just outside the lane on the quiet street. There's always spaces available! Dunning is small enough to see on foot and there's plenty of pretty walks and cycle routes around the area. If you want to have a drink in Perth or the famous nearby Gleneagles Hotel, there's a bus route, plenty of taxis or speak to Ame, who'd be delighted to help you.
