Generally the house is quiet so it is a good place to rest after a busy day sightseeing in Edinburgh. Edinburgh is very busy so staying on the Outskirts (6 miles) of Edinburgh means a quieter nights sleep without interruptions. We are up early for school and work but are very quiet. The space The bedroom and bathroom are areas that guests can use. Average sized bedroom with a set of bunk beds. The room is front facing. This room has a desk and chair incase you need to work. In addition the room has shelves for clothes and also a hanging rail for clothes. The bathroom has a great shower with monsoon and jet settings along with a normal showerhead. The shower is 1200 x 700 in size so allows plenty of room to move around. Guest access The bedroom and bathroom are areas that guests can use. The bathroom is the shared accommodation as is the hall. The kitchen is not shared at this time due to insurance restrictions and PAT testing but there is a kettle (only) available. During your stay I love welcoming new guests, some times it's difficult to meet and greet when guests are staying for a night or two due to work and family commitments but I'm always available via Airbnb messages or What's App. Unless something is urgent messages won't be responded to between 10 pm and 7am. Other things to note The kitchen is not shared and there is no access to a Fridge, microwave, oven or any other appliance other than a kettle that is provided in the room. This is due to insurance reasons and appliances not being PAT tested. We have a small puppy, Ozzie. He is 30 months old and he’s a Lhasa Apso. Please ensure the door isn't left wide open when you aren't at the door.
