A guesthouse, nestled in a grove of mesquite trees, located just a block away from the local shops downtown awaits your arrival. A full kitchen, supplied with the basic conveniences, bedroom with queen size bed and twin sofa bed, and bathroom with shower, make this space a perfect fit for a couple or small family. The front living room has a futon couch and smart TV. This space is most comfortable for four people but can sleep up to six (an air mattress can be provided upon special request). Our kitchen has a dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, toaster and basic cooking and eating supplies. The bathroom has a walk in shower (with a small step) that is not wheel chair accessible. Laundry facilities are available across the alley at a local laundromat. Parking is best outside the gate entrance to ensure our little dogs do not run out. If one does prefer to park inside the gate, this can be done by sliding the gate open. We have a fire pit that can be used when the season allows. We will provide a code for entrance into the guesthouse on check-in day. A camera is positioned outside the entrance for security purposes. The guesthouse is next door to the main house of which the owners reside. We are available to you if you have any questions or basic needs. Our phone number will be provided and texting is the best way to reach us. We are a family of five with two teenagers and one younger child. Our yard is active at times with youthful spirit, but that doesn't get in the way of respecting your privacy. We have a small Yorkshire Terrier named Link and a Goldendoodle Mini named Appa, who love to meet new guests and furry friends. Patagonia is a charming town located an hour south of Tucson and 18 miles north of the Nogales, Mexico border. Visitors from all over travel to Patagonia to explore the beautiful landscape, variety of plant and animal life (mostly birds), and to escape the hustle and bustle of modern city life. Downtown Patagonia is occupied by artist galleries, one-of-a-kind restaurants and historic quaintness. Just seven miles out of town is Lake Patagonia, which is enjoyed for the hiking trails, fishing, and lake fun! Patagonia is perfect for bicycles, vehicles or feet. Downtown is approximately 0.5 mile in length, with one of its biggest charms...the accessibility of walking! No Smoking on premises. No Parties or large gatherings. PETS: Limit to ONE DOG ONLY. Our property is enclosed and safe for your dog. If you wish to bring your dog, there is an extra one time fee of $40. Please keep your dog off the furniture at all times. If you must leave your dog in the house while you’re exploring the area, please keep your dog in a travel kennel or outside during that time. Please pick up after your dog in the yard. Pet owners are responsible for any damages incurred by your dog. Our Yorkie, Link, will also have access to the yard so we ask that you keep your dog on a leash until you’re certain both dogs are comfortable with each other. Thank you!
