After over 25 years of creating many amazing memories with our four children at our cottage on Baptiste Lake, we would like other families to create some of their own. You will get the cottage vibes as soon as you walk inside with the smell of cedar. Waking up with the breath taking sunrise views with birds of prey soaring above including bald eagles, great fishing, swimming, paddle boarding, canoeing or just relaxing by the camp fire listening to the loon calls. The space Located 10 minutes from Bancroft and 45 minutes from Algonquin Park, our waterfront cottage is on beautiful Baptiste Lake. With 3 bedrooms and a spacious open concept living room, dining room and kitchen. For those rainy days, you could enjoy watching a movie from our big collection of DVDs on the 55" TV, listen to some tunes on our radio/Bluetooth speaker with strong unlimited WIFI. Guest access There are 4 parking spots on our property and additional spots if required. You have access to the entire property including over 45 acres of trails which is also our property within a 5 minute walk of our cottage. The Baptiste Lake Marina is also a 5 minute walk where you can grab some ice cream or rent a boat. The town of Bancroft is a 10 minute drive which has Foodland, No Frills, Canadian Tire, Shoppers Drug Mart, LCBO, our favorite candy store, Bancroft General Mercantile and many more stores to browse through. Bancroft also has a variety of restaurants if you would like to enjoy a nice meal out. Other things to note We require an additional rental agreement completed with photo identification before your request is accepted. We welcome pets as we have our very own but must be kept off all furniture at all times, cleaned up after and should not be left to wander when outside. Although our cottage is waterfront, there are over 70 steps that lead to the water. The cottage runs on lake water and although we have 2 filters it is unfit for drinking. Please bring your own drinking water. We provide linens and pillows but do not provide towels or blankets. We have a canoe and a junior (maximum 140 lb) paddle board for your use during your stay.
