Camper/RV in San Miguel
Description
Come stay at the H&K Ranch in a spacious travel trailer! The trailer sits at the end of our 2 acre property surrounded by vineyards. It has 1 queen bed, 1 double bed, 2 twin bunks, full kitchen, shower and bathroom. The trailer is fully equipped with cooking utensils, BBQ, spices, dishes and silverware...paper goods too! Come enjoy all the Central Coast has to offer without breaking the bank! Go to the Mid-State Fair, Vina Robles or go wine tasting near beautiful San Miguel, CA. The space You are staying in our trailer on our property with an awesome view of the vineyards and the Salinas riverbed in beautiful San Miguel, CA. We are minutes away from historic Mission San Miguel, The Ravine Water Park, Vina Robles Amphitheatre, Mid-State Fair, Lake Nacimiento and hundreds of wineries. Hotels on the Central Coast are incredibly expensive and we are an inexpensive alternative to experience all the Central Coast has to offer. The trailer is equipped with a full kitchen, bathroom, dining table and couch. It sleeps 6; however that's a tight fit. You are dry camping on our property which means you are operating on the two onboard 6V batteries, 30 gallons of water and 7 gallons of propane during your stay...which should be plenty! Should you leave the lights on all day and run down the batteries, there's a generator to charge you back up. We have a 9V cell phone charging station for you, just remember to bring your USB cord. While there is a TV, microwave, AC unit and 110 plugs, they only work while the generator is on. We want to encourage you to experience the "glamping" lifestyle and UNPLUG for the weekend. We provide all your sheets, towels, blankets and plenty of pillows. The queen bed is ultra comfy, the couch makes out into a double bed (air-mattress) and the twin bunks are meant for kids. (Honestly, not very comfy for adults.) Since you have 30 gallons of water, you'll need to take quick showers. The panel under the TV will give you an indicator light to show how much water you have left. Be sure to bring your own shampoo and shower soap...we provide hand soap, dish soap and RV toilet paper. The patio is covered and lighted for a relaxing evening on the ranch. Adirondack chairs, BBQ and a picnic table is provided too. The kitchen is fully stocked with cups, plates, silverware, bowls, pots, pans, spices, oil, vinegar...mostly what you need for a camping stay. Be aware there's a dirt road that boarders our home and occasional traffic runs through it. We live on the property so you can expect to see our home, vehicles in the driveway and various equipment, ATVs, boats and tractors on the property too. You may see our 100# Rottweiler puppy, who's always curious and wants to meet new people...but we try to keep him in the house so as not to bother you. We live in the country and you can expect to see the critters that live here. There are lizards, bunnies, quail, humming birds, doves and many more species of birds. You'll hear the crow of a rooster, screech of a hawk and hoot of an owl. Please stay out of the wood-pile...there's likely a snake in there! We'd love to have you come experience the "glamping" lifestyle and UNPLUG for the weekend. Enjoy the Central Coast during the day...the vineyards...the country life...and the evening breeze at H&K Ranch! Guest access The H&K Ranch is located at the end of Martinez Dr. When you reach the end of our road, follow the driveway around to the right...keep going past the green house and follow the road back around to the left. The property will open up to our home and the trailer will be in the lot closest to the vineyards. My boyfriend (Jake) and I both manage the property. Jake will probably be the best contact for quick questions and he is almost always on the property or close by. He can be reached by phone call or text. Other things to note The trailer is situated on the backside of the property closest to Magdalena Street. It is a rural, dirt road that winds back into the winegrape vineyards. It is a really great walk to take it to the end - about 1.5 mile round trip - with some hills and breathtaking views! The road is used by residents up the street so expect some traffic along the road.
