La Cabane du Bois

Enjoy the sounds of nature when you stay in this unique place! In the woods, with stunning views of the Roanne Valley, come and cut yourself off from the world in this comfortable and bright eco-built cabin. The space Wooden hut on stilts, it is located in the woods on the edge of a meadow. Ideally accommodates 2 people, with the possibility of pitching a tent nearby for children/teens. (on request only, no additional person will be accepted without our prior agreement). The sleeping area of the cabin (160 cm bed) is located on a mezzanine accessible by a ladder. The cabin is equipped with a kitchenette, spacious shower, dining area, and sitting area with wood stove. You will also have a large terrace with outdoor table, hammock. The dry toilet is located in a small shed a few meters from the cabin. The cabin is comfortable and habitable all year round thanks to its insulation and wood stove (you still need to know how to make a fire, but we can teach you if necessary!). We provide you with the necessary items (wood, newspaper, lighter, etc.). Guest access To access the cabin you will need to take a 2 km dirt road (be careful if your vehicle is low to the ground). From your parking space you will have to walk 150 m to reach the cabin. You may be greeted by our adorable and imposing dog who will bark before demanding petting. (We can tie her up for your arrival, if you let us know that her presence worries you). You will be staying close (200 m) to our living space, not overlooked, we are discreet, but present if needed. Other things to note The cabin is self-sufficient in electricity, powered by photovoltaic solar panels and the water comes from our source. As a result, these resources are sufficient but not unlimited. Devices that consume a lot of electrical energy (raclette machine, hair dryer, etc.) will not work. Even though we love them very much, we don't allow pets.
