Mornings begin with soft light filtering through the atrium, while evenings invite you to gather indoors by the wood-burning fireplace for a cozy, relaxed end to the day. Sleeping arrangements This single-level home accommodates up to 6 guests across three sleeping spaces. Two bedrooms feature queen-size beds, while an additional den includes a fold-down sofa for flexible sleeping. The layout also includes two full bathrooms, with one offering a walk-in shower and the other a deep soaking tub. A separate private office with a door provides a quiet, dedicated workspace. Living space The open-concept living area is filled with natural light and anchored by high ceilings and a wood-burning indoor fireplace. Whether you're unwinding after a day out or enjoying a quiet evening in, the space is designed for comfort and connection. A 42 inch TV with streaming services offers easy entertainment. Kitchen & dining The kitchen is fully equipped for everyday cooking, complete with essential appliances and a dining table for shared meals. Whether preparing a quick breakfast or a full dinner, everything you need is within reach. Outdoor living At the heart of the home, an enclosed atrium with a custom mural and red maple tree creates a peaceful indoor-outdoor transition. The private backyard offers a fully fenced space with a patio, outdoor dining area, BBQ grill, fire pit, and comfortable seating - ideal for enjoying fresh air year-round. Work & essentials Stay connected with Wifi and a dedicated workspace in a private room. The home also includes in-unit laundry, heating, air conditioning, and bathroom essentials for a comfortable stay. Parking & access Guests have full access to the home and garden. Free parking on premises and free street parking are available, and self check-in via lockbox makes arrival simple. Neighborhood Located in a peaceful residential area, the home offers convenient access to nearby shops, dining, and public transportation, including a Caltrain station. Its location makes it easy to move between local neighborhoods and surrounding Bay Area destinations. Please note: two bedrooms do not have curtains, but privacy is ensured due to exterior wall placement. No parties or events allowed, and occupancy must not exceed the reservation count. Guest access Guests have full access to the entire property, including the house and gardens. A washer and dryer are available for use in the garage. But no parking is allowed in the garage, thank you. Every once in a great while we may ask you to move your car from the driveway, so that we can get our car out of the garage, this will only take 5 minutes but we will let you know a head of time. Other things to note For safety reasons, we do not prefer children under 12. The home contains decor and furnishings that are not childproof—some items are breakable, could tip over, or include small pieces that could be swallowed. This is a peaceful home intended for quiet stays. Any gathering over 8 people, including visitors, will be considered a party and is strictly prohibited. No events or parties of any kind are allowed. We appreciate your understanding in helping us maintain a safe and respectful environment for all guests and neighbors. ✅ Parking is available in the driveway only (no garage access for cars). ✅ There is a TV in one of the bedrooms, but not in the living room. ✅ The home is just 20-30 minutes from downtown San Francisco. If you’re looking for a venue or a park nearby for a celebration. You can check out local reservable facilities at the Highlands Recreation District of San Mateo and it's right across the street from us. We do our best to accommodate LUGGAGE STORAGE when possible, but it isn’t always guaranteed. If needed, you can use a convenient service like BOUNCE, which provides secure luggage storage at nearby locations so you can enjoy your time without carrying bags around.
