Description
The stone house is a large 1890 stone house situated on Glencolton Farm, a 200 acres biodynamic farm and home of Symphony in the Barn and Christkindl Market. Swimming and hiking trails can be found on the farm or at the nearby conservation area. In winter skiing and snowshoeing is enjoyable right on the farm. We farm cattle, horses, chicken and pigs to interact with and tend a large vegetable garden. Spa feature is an extra fee and booked directly with your host. The space Beautifully decorated with modern kitchen and all the amenities needed to cook meals while you are away. There are 3 rooms with queen size beds and a hallway cubby where there are 2 single beds. A beautiful fire place in the living room tops off the warm cozy winter night in an old country farm house. If you are interested in only one bedroom, please inquire about rate discounts. We have recently added a spa feature to our stays. There is a hot tub and sauna which is wood fired. If you would like to use these facilities you are required to pre arrange the time slot for your private use. This way we can heat it up so it is ready for you. If the weather is extremely cold the hot tub may not be available. There is an extra fee, $200 for the large tub and $100 for the small tub, per use of the spa facilities (usually a 3 hour block). If you are planning to book the spa please let me know which date and your preferred time slot. Spa robes and towels are provided as well. We are pleased to inform you that we are now offering massages from our very own, on site, registered massage therapist as a spa option. Massages are $150 per person for 60 minutes and $50 of that goes towards your hot tub and sauna use. You will receive a tax receipt for your massage (and partial spa use). We can book your massages in during you spa time slot or right at the end. We are now booking spa time slots 3-6, 6-9 or 9-12 or anytime during the day If you have any questions until then, please let me know!
