The apartment has 2 private patios and a private hot tub. From the apartment there is a beautiful mountain view and also a view over the biggest recreation area in Reykjavík, Heiðmörk. It takes only 5 minutes to walk to this popular outdoors hiking area and 10 minutes to walk to a small, beautiful lake. There are 2 bedrooms, each with a double bed. One bed is 150 cm wide and the other 140 cm. The kitchen and the living room are in the same space. The bathroom has a shower and the washing machine and dryer are in the bathroom. There are 2 patios, one with a hot tub. There is 2 minutes drive to two supermarkets. 3 minutes walk to a newly opened coffee house. About 15- 18 minutes drive to downtown Reykjavík. There is an easy access to the main roads for taking day trips out of town. About 30 minutes drive from the airport. There is a bus stop 2 minutes away but it can take up to 45 minutes with the bus to downtown Reykjavík. There is only 5 minutes drive to either Hafnafjörður ot Garðabær, towns that are a part of the larger capital area, were you can find swimming pools, restaurants and variety of shops. Free parking in front of the apartment. This neighboorhood, Urriðaholt, enjoys the fact that nature surrounds it in three ways. A lava field to the north, Heiðmörk, an outdoor recreation area, to the east and the lake Urriðavatn to the south. Everywhere you look from Urriðaholt, you see a sight that pleases the eye; eroded lava, moss, birch bushes and bird life by the lake. There are countless opportunities to enjoy nature in the immediate vicinity of Urriðaholt. Walking paths are all around, both in the lava field, in Heiðmörk and along the lake. There are good walking connections from the neighborhood to all directions. Heiðmörk is the largest outdoor recreation area in the capital area, forested and sheltered with a very good walking path system, great views, bike paths, riding trails, historical sites, etc. Parking is free in the street.
