As one of our largest log cabin rentals in Amish Country Ohio, the Blue Jay’s Nest can comfortably sleep up to 8 guests. Located on a small side road off of Main Street in Berlin, Ohio. Offering two bedrooms with a total of four queen size beds, two full bathrooms, front porch with rocking chairs, fire ring, and charcoal grill. This unit offers truly unique and comfortable accommodations in Berlin. Escape the hustle of your normal routine and enjoy a slow-paced relaxing stay in Amish Country! The space Living Room: The huge log pillars and beams that greet you at the front entrance lets you know there will be room to spare in this spacious standalone cabin. The large living area boasts a gas fireplace encased in a handcrafted stone hearth towering for two floors to the peaked ceiling. A full-size sofa and two comfy chairs make for good spots to nap by the fire, read a good book, or watch the 50-inch Roku Smart TV. Split log planking, roughly finished beams, and hardwood floors provide the perfect surroundings as you enjoy your breakfast or play your favorite board games at the Amish-made table that seats eight. This room has its own heating and air conditioning unit to maximize your comfort. Kitchen: The kitchen area is home to a full-size refrigerator with a freezer, and an oven complete with a 4-burner stovetop. There are ample pots and pans if you feel like making your favorite vacation meal, or a microwave oven for heating up the leftovers from one of our amazing restaurants in town. The extra-deep sink and rustic wood counters provide added charm. A toaster and drip coffee maker round out the appliances which are at your disposal. Bathroom: The main floor bathroom has a tub/shower unit. A hairdryer and all the amenities you need to get your day off to a great start are provided for your convenience. Loft: Ascend the stairs to your roomy loft where 2 queen-sized beds are tucked under the eaves and await your cozy slumber. Enjoy your view of the beautiful arched window and the living space below. A decorative ceiling fan ensures that your sleeping climate is ideal for a great night’s sleep. Downstairs: The lowest level of your cabin is the primary reason that the Blue Jay is a great choice for your family or group of friends. At the foot of the stairs, you will find both a full-size pool table and another large screen Roku TV to keep everyone entertained. When you feel like relaxing in style, slide back the wooden barn door to reveal the jacuzzi tub encased in quarried stone. A second tub/shower unit, hairdryer, and essential amenities complete the downstairs bathroom. When you decide you have had enough fun for one day and are ready to turn in, the two queen size beds resting on a base of corrugated metal and pinewood trim assures you will be slumbering in truly unique rustic luxury. Guest access The entire standalone cabin is yours to enjoy. You may also walk the lighted and paved pathways of our campus and hike up the scenic county road to town or down the same road to explore nearby fields, creeks, and wooded areas.
