Palo Verde House is a ranch style home just a few steps from Joshua Tree Highlands and excellent hiking. Sweeping views, full kitchen, 2 bedrooms two baths. Den with queen fold out couch with pillow top for comfort. Property is over an acre. Hot Tub, BBQ. Picnic table, lounge chairs. Coffee and Tea included. Dining table seats six. Wifi,, DVD's. Dishwasher. Walk in closets. Hifi stereo. Fireplace. Swamp cooler. Sit outside and enjoy the landscape. Will consider dogs. $50 one time pet fee. Guest access Washer and Dryer are available upon request for long stays only, 5 night minimum, or in case of emergencies. Cooling system is Evaporative Cooler (Swamp Cooler), not actual Air Conditioner. Other things to note Please note: we recently (late December 2025) received feedback from a guest that a dog next door was annoyingly barking. This is the first time we have heard this in 10 years and we ourselves have never had a problem, and I am personally noise sensitive. The neighbors just recently got a new dog which I think might explain it. We were there the following week and there wasn't a sound for 5 days and then one day it barked in the yard off and on for maybe an hour when no one was home with it. They have multiple dogs but it's only the new one that seems to be a potential problem, so we want to let everyone know just in case it's a concern, hopefully she'll settle in, but we can't guarantee that she won't bark. Barking never happens at night so if you're out during the day it should be OK. FYI, we only have one close neighbor (with the dog in question) on one side where the yards abut, the other side there's a house (always empty) about 150 feet away, and one house across the street also about 150 feet, and nobody behind us.
