Description
The Old Salt Store is situated in the village of Pobathic, in an AONB at the head of a tributary of the River Lynher, to which there is access, bring your kayak/paddle board and your binoculars! The space The apartment building itself is built alongside an old 18th century corn mill, partially within a turn of the 20th century building (an old salt store) and a building from the mid 20th century. The apartment is on the first floor, accessed via well kept steps. The rooms are very light and spacious, double glazing, modern gas central heating to keep you warm and cosy, with most of the building south facing. A small private balcony faces east down the river as does the kitchen. Recently refurbished and well maintained both inside and out. Guest access Parking for 1 vehicle is secure off road in a private carpark behind wooden farm gates with cctv cover, parking for an additional vehicle can be found just across the road in a small dedicated parking area. Buses run daily regular, although infrequent services through the village. The main Torpoint to Trerulefoot road through the village gives easy driving access to Whitsand Bay beaches and the Rame Peninsula or west to Looe, Polperro and beyond. The main London/Penzance railway line is accessible half a mile away in the village of St Germans to the north.
