The Spinney is our super dog-friendly ground floor self-catering accommodation! We've designed it so that you & your dog have a great holiday! Part of a traditional stone barn conversion located in the Peak District & Derbyshire Dales, the Spinney offers space as well as the comfort of modern living. With cosy underfloor heating throughout, and everything you need for you and your furry friend, we are sure you will have a great time here! Peaceful setting, close to popular visitor attractions! The space We have tried very hard to make The Spinney the perfect place for you to stay with your furry friend! When you think of the Peak District, if stone cottages and rolling hills come to mind, the Spinney won't disappoint! With it's traditional Derbyshire cottage feel, the Spinney offers generous ground floor space with easy access to all areas. Modern in style, and generously proportioned for up to two people, guests can enjoy the comfort of open plan living, with a great TV, free WiFi, fully fitted kitchen, wet room, king size bed and plenty of storage! Free on-site easily accessible parking is available to our guests in a secure electric gated courtyard. Please let us know if you would like to bring your bikes or any other bulky item with you. We do have a secure store or additional parking. For guests who bring their dog(s) on holiday (2 maximum) we have provided a secure grassed area where you can let them off the lead and have a run & play! There is a bench seat under a shaded tree to sit and relax with your dog. We'd love you to have the best time with your dog while you are on holiday. Being dog owners ourselves, we understand dogs come in all shapes and personalities. If you have any concerns about your dog's stay, or have any questions relating to bringing your dog on holiday with you, please don’t hesitate to contact us. Dog sitting available **charges apply ** Daytime only (perfect for visiting Chatsworth House/Haddon Hall) Guests can also enjoy the BBQ and seating area which overlooks the alpaca paddocks. Perfect on a summers day with a glass of wine or afternoon tea! FREE use of yoga/fitness studio/Relaxation Area. This area can also be used as a quiet working space if you need to 'work from home'. Alpaca Trekking ** charges apply (closed Nov - March) A full price list is available on request. Guest access The accommodation is not located on any public transport route. Having a car or bike is essential to exploring the area. The local pub and village shop is 2 miles away in the village of Holymoorside. There is excellent easily accessible parking facilities on site. Other things to note ** ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ** The accommodation sleeps up to two people. The accommodation has not been assessed for child safety. Therefore, it may not be suitable for children or infants due to the following features: - No safety gates - Hard flooring and sharp edges throughout - Electrical points and fixtures that are not child-proofed - No cot, highchair, or child-specific safety equipment - Outdoor areas are not enclosed - The space has not been modified or assessed for children's use Please respect our quiet hours between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM to ensure all guests can enjoy their stay. SMOKING AND VAPING Smoking and vaping are not permitted inside the accommodation. Guests may smoke in the designated outdoor patio area only. Please ensure cigarette butts are disposed of in an ashtray and not on the ground or over the wall. Ashtrays are available upon request. ILLEGAL DRUGS Illegal drugs are strictly prohibited on the premises. Any guest found to be in possession of or using illegal substances will be required to leave the property immediately. **OUR DOG POLICY:** We accept a maximum of two dogs; however, the accommodation is not suitable for two very large dogs. We do not accept dogs that are banned under the Dangerous Dogs Act. Dogs should not be left unattended in cages or crates inside the accommodation. Dogs are not permitted on the bed. While we understand that dogs bark, you may be asked to leave if your dog barks uncontrollably for extended periods, which could disturb other guests. We provide an exclusive, fully enclosed area for exercising and toileting your dog. We have dogs of our own on the premises. If you have any concerns about this, please let us know 😊 **Yoga Studio Access:** A fully equipped yoga studio is available for guests, complemented by a mezzanine relaxation area designed for unwinding. **AlpacaTrekking Experience:** While you’re on holiday, consider joining us for a unique Alpaca Trekking experience! 🦙 (Please note: Alpaca Trekking takes a winter break from November to March) 🦙❄️ **Other Accommodation Available:** The Spinney is part of a converted barn featuring a ground-floor apartment all on one level and is equipped with a walk-in shower, making it possibly suitable for individuals with limited mobility.
