Arrive to a king bed (and TRIPLE bunk beds) with cozy clean sheets steps from a noisy state-stocked trout stream. A high-end cooler is your fridge. A Weber charcoal grill is your kitchen. USB powered lighting and power chargers are provided in addition to linens, pillows, towels and toilet paper. There are screens for the windows and a solar powered fan. We provide moist biodegradable camping towelettes for cleaning and deodorizing your body (or take a dip in the stream) and, of course, there is a port-o-toilet, fire pit, deck chimney and hammocks. “Everything. Works better when you unplug it for a little while ... including yourself.” There are now 2 Domes on 12 acres (about 35 yards apart). We are pet friendly with a one-time $35 pet fee (breed restrictions & pre-approval required due to insurance requirements, sorry). Guests have full access to wander 1/4 mile of creek frontage and 12+ acres complete with some trails going in!!! We signed the "No Contact Entry Promise." Show up and enjoy without human contact! This is FAMILY DOME - Designed with families in mind, but a couple will be plenty happy here due to the 7' privacy wall between the King and bunks. This dome is the closest Dome to the best in fishing and swimming, our peninsula, closets to parking and closest to bathrooms. You park literally steps from your Dome and can unload your gear from car straight to your dome! You will then have 12+ acres, 1200+ feet (1/4 mile) of creek frontage for your family to unplug, recharge and enjoy, currently shared by only one other Dome! Go explore! Go Unplug! No contact entry. We are located in Fleetwood NC, a small town 20 mins to Boone and 15 mins to West Jefferson! There are wooden steps down to your dome and a simple trail down to the creek peninsula.
