Welcome to our cozy and older country house filled with soul located in quiet and beautiful surroundings on Vestmøn - an area surrounded by white sandy beaches, cliffs, forests and harbor. Close to most things but surrounded by tranquility. Here you get an open house with beautiful outdoor areas - courtyard and terrace as well as direct access to fields with the sea within a few kilometers. In addition, a large annex with a small music studio. Small vacations or artistic stays with room for immersion and tranquility. Read the description before booking :) The space When you enter the house, you will find a small entrance and then a large open space with a living and dining area with access to the garden, as well as an open kitchen with a pantry. On the first floor, you will find a quiet and simple bedroom overlooking the forest and with a large 180x200 double bed. There is also a children's room/yoga room with a 140x200 bed (which is close to the floor). This is where children or extra adults can sleep. Please note that there are blackout curtains on the skylight windows, but not on the gable. The bathroom is small but blue (see pictures). Functional - some would say a little primitive - but includes toilet, sink and shower, where you stand and look out into our nice backyard. In the utility room you will find a washing machine and towels. Here, there is also an exit to the courtyard garden, where you will find seating and barbecue. In the annex, there is a double bed as well as a simple music studio. This can be used by more than two overnight guests. Our house is changing - furniture, pictures and stones move around the house depending on the season. We are also continuously improving the house. The house has its little quirks as it is from 1898. We guarantee peace and cozy surroundings, but not a completely modernized and thoroughly renovated home :) Guest access Once you arrive, just park out on the road in front of our house or in the driveway next to the hedge and the trash cans. Garbage in the first three containers (sorted). Other things to note Remember a pair of wool socks for the cold months. Firewood for the wood-burning stove is in the garage out in the yard. Be sure to turn off/close all open fires before leaving the house - candles, wood-burning stove, gas stove, etc.
