Cozy Stone Cottage Annex
Cozy Stone Cottage Annex
Description
A delightfully converted early 18th century historic dwelling, Gasbrook House Annexe provides cosy, self-contained living nestled in a peaceful village just east of the Slieve Bloom Mountains. This comfortable spot is perfect for a relaxing getaway, romantic break, or well earned rest and is an ideal base for exploring all the midlands has to offer. Surrounded by beautiful nature reserves this cozy space is devoted to peace and relaxation and a haven for nature lovers. The space The completely private annexe is upstairs and accessed by its own private front door entrance, with private staircase within the main house. Even though the Airbnb is within the same dwelling, we live in the complete opposite end. We will not hear or see one another. However we are always only phone call away if you need anything. The space is immaculate throughout and is cleaned and sanitised to the highest standard. It consists of one sun filled bedroom; with a super cozy queen bed, plus a very comfortable memory foam top pullout sofa in the living room. Both the bedroom and living room have a Smart 4K Tv where you can enjoy, Netflix and Amazon Prime. The annex has everything you need for a cosy, home-from-home break. It is stocked with essentials that include tea/coffee/sugar, breakfast cereals and a few little extras to make your stay more comfortable. The kitchenette has everything you need to brew a decent cup of coffee in the morning, or whip up a quick family meal in the mini range cooker in the evening. There is an under counter fridge, microwave, De’Longhi toaster & kettle, and Nespresso machine. Please note there is no oven. The Full Size bathroom has an excellent power shower and full bathtub for that perfect bubblebath on a cozy evening in. Children are very welcome and we can provide a travel cot, children's plates and cutlery, stair gate, travel cot with memory foam mattress, and anything else you may need to make your children's stay more comfortable. Guest access Even though a small town it has all the essentials. Directly across the street, The Hare’s Corner offers delicious breakfasts and lunches. Within a 5 minute stroll there are numerous pubs, (our favourite being Tom and Vron’s old world pub) 2 cafes, numerous chippers, Chinese and Pizza, SuperValu, and my favourite Breda’s gift shop, full of beautiful finds. 10 minutes drive and you will find the historical capital town of county Laois, Portlaoise. Portlaoise is full of shops, pubs, a shopping centre, Tesco, Aldi, and Lidl. It also has some yummy restaurants I can recommend. Please check out my guidebooks for all our local info Other things to note There is free parking for 1 car directly outside your private front door entrance. Luxury bedding and bath towels provided. Complimentary wifi Please note that the photograph of the bedroom was taken when it was a double bed. It has since been replaced to a 5ft Queen.
