Weald Lodge: self-contained annexe with parking

This stylish place to stay is perfect for couples looking for a country get away with walks across the fields. Driving distance to local amenities, pubs/restaurants & attractions. Weald Lodge is a separate annexe in the gardens of Wealdview Farmhouse (TN12 6SP) PLEASE NOTE, despite being in the category of farm, we are not a farm and do not have far machinery. The fields around us have grazing sheep Due to the open beams on the mezzanine level, we don't encourage infants or children The space The lodge is an open plan space which consists of a kitchen area with a small counter-top oven, a microwave and a full size fridge-freezer. The living area has a sofa and armchair with a TV and Sky (channels include Sky Sports & Sky Movies). Please note that the television is slightly smaller than shown in the photos as the original broke and needed to be replaced promptly. There is a step down into the bathroom which has a shower, toilet & sink. The bedroom is found on a mezzanine level and has a DOUBLE bed (the slope of the ceiling dictated the size of the bed!) Outside, there is a table and chairs on a patio area overlooking the garden and fields - perfect for keeping an eye out for our resident Woodpeckers! Guest access There is one parking space for our guests. Additional spaces can sometimes be accommodated but please check in advance of booking. There is a gate in the front garden which gives access to the public footpath leading across the fields. The outside space for the lodge is a courtyard with table & chairs. However, the main garden is also open for use Other things to note Please note that we are located on a busy road (the A228) which requires care when pulling off the drive. Once here, the views across the Weald are beautiful. We do not currently have facilities for car charging and do not permit the use of extension leads to charge electric vehicles
