This is a cozy cottage getaway steps away from Vineyard Lake! This clean and quaint cottage has so much character and gives you a fun and peaceful feel. In addition to being able to Look down the street and view the lake, it is conveniently located within 10 minutes of the downtown of Brooklyn which has taverns, creameries, the cutest shops, and restaurants. The country concert Faster Horses and Michigan International Speedway are minutes away as well. Check out the nearby wineries and trails. Super cozy cottage with newly done floors, fresh paint and updated appliances. The open space kitchen and living room allow you to cook while others visit at the island counter bar or in the living room watching some TV with an electric fireplace beneath it. Also, the space is open to a chic dining area with a window looking out to the beautiful Vineyard Lake which is only a short walk down the street from the house. Take one of our provided kayaks and head to the lake for some fishing, sun tanning or color tour. At night enjoy the private backyard, almost fully fenced, and use the grill to cook up some fish and then have a bonfire at the bonfire pit with some s’mores to end the night. There are 3 bedrooms that have lofted open ceilings (it is an industrial feel). The master bedroom comes right out to the kitchen and the bathroom is right next door. Kitchen is fully equipped with pots and pans, wine glasses to enjoy some wine purchases from all the nearby wineries. AC unit in the living room that immediately cools the entire cottage! And air filtration devices as well to keep everything clean. Fresh linens provided. One of the guest rooms has a quaint office space with great window views. We like to give our guest their space and freedom to enjoy the space. We are available and very responsive via email and phone for questions. Friendly lake life atmosphere. Nearby hiking trails such as Watkins Lake State Park, 6 miles away. If your feeling spontaneous and adventurous, check out Tecumseh Sky Dive 10 miles away and take a dive into the sky :) Afterwards, if you are feeling hungry, visit Napoleon Cafe for some quaint down to home diner food. Usually, they have great Fish Fry deals on Fridays. Parking: long gravel path right alongside the right side of the cottage. Smaller vehicles could park in front by the mailbox if able to fit. Spend some time fishing or swimming. Take the kayaks out or if you have a boat, launch it from Vineyard’s Lake Park launch. This is only 5 min or less from the cottage. The fishing is great! We have caught sunfish, crappies, bass and many more! Nothing beats a home made fish dinner after fishing on the lake all day!
