Little Yellow Door is a 1 bedroom apartment with a full kitchen on the lower level of our home in the Oakland hills. It's very cozy, has a completely private entrance, and is pet friendly! Lots of plants, antiques and art. You can enjoy morning coffee from the deck while looking out at the Bay! This is an older house- you will hear us and our pets walking around upstairs. Kids are always welcome but the space may not be ideal. **Two flights of stairs to get to the apt** Easy street parking! The space Little Yellow Door has strong wifi, which makes it good for video streaming, work conference calls etc. with a desk that you can work from. We also have a lovely outdoor dining area! Guest access The entrance to Little Yellow Door is through the backyard. The grey deck is a shared space but we do our best to stay clear of it while we are hosting. You may see us watering the plants, landscapers present or our pets in the yard! The backyard, including the hot tub, is a private space. We are beekeepers, so we want guests to be aware that we have a bee box in the backyard. While your apartment will be clear of them, the bees do live nearby, which is why we keep the yard completely private. Please enjoy the view from the deck! Other things to note If you are traveling with a dog, please keep them on a leash because we have an outdoor cat who may be roaming around from time to time!
