Picnic House is a comfortable home, set amongst tropical gardens in a quiet street in Picnic Bay. This beautifully designed, split level home features high ceilings and louvered windows to catch the island breeze and let in an abundance of natural light. Relax by the pool, take a dip and enjoy your holiday to the maximum. This tropical oasis really is island living at its best, with the beach, local restaurants and cafes, and the Picnic Bay Jetty and swimming enclosure only a short stroll away. The space Picnic House accommodates up to 6 guests in 3 bedrooms. The third bedroom, with separate bathroom; is located in the Bungalow in the garden. This is where you will find the laundry also. Our guests enjoy the option of a private space when there is a large group staying. The house is simply and comfortably furnished in an uncluttered modern style. The beautiful artwork you'll notice on entering is by talented local artist Georgie Dunn. The main living area, master bedroom and retreat is air conditioned. Ceiling fans are in all rooms and the louvered windows featured throughout the home and retreat provide wonderful cross ventilation and ample airflow in most months. A large deck leads out to the garden and pool area. This is the perfect place to relax with friends and family for drinks and meals at the large round table. At certain times of the year though, mosquitos can be plentiful; so please make use of the coils and personal repellant provided. Guest access Guests have access to all areas of the house and garden. Other things to note Please note that the third bedroom is located in the Bungalow in the garden.
