Pihkura is located just a few minutes' drive from Syöte's ski resorts, but far enough away from their noise. Here you can enjoy the true silence of the wilderness! The loft has 4 comfortable mattress places. The lean-to has blankets and pillows for eight, but you have to bring your own linen. If you wish, we can arrange them for you for a separate fee. The kitchen is well equipped, including a ceramic stove, a convection oven, coffee and water kettles, a microwave and a dishwasher. There is a dehumidifier in the hallway, and the sauna is heated with electricity. In the yard, you will find, for example, a barbecue canopy and an 11kWh type 2 electric car charging station. The use of the charging station is always agreed separately. 2 bedrooms downstairs both have 2 beds. On the balcony, you'll find 4 comfortable mattresses. There are blankets and pillows for 8 people, but you'll have to bring bedsheets with you. We can also arrange them for you for an extra fee of 18.5€ / person. The kitchen is well equipped with all the basic kitchenware including washing machine, ceramic stove, microwave and coffee maker. The sauna has an easy-to-use electric stove. Outside you'll find a BBQ hut and a 11kWh type 2 EV charging station. Other things to note Reservations for less than 3 days are not possible. Unfortunately, we do not accommodate pets in Pihkura. The fireplace in Pihkura can sometimes be tricky to light, and it lets smoke in. This problem can be solved by turning off the range hood and opening the kitchen ventilation window. It is advisable to open the window before lighting, and keep it ajar as long as the stove's damper is open. More detailed lighting instructions can be found in front of the fireplace. Pihkura has starter packs of toilet paper, paper towels and dishwasher detergent. You should bring them with you or buy them at a local store. We don't accept pets or reservations under 3 days. The Pihkuras fireplace can sometimes be a little tricky to use, since it may draw smoke indoors. Before lighting it up, you need to open the kitchen window and keep it a little open until the fire goes out. See specific instructions from the Pihkuras manual located inside our holiday home. There's a starter pack of toilet paper, kitchen paper and dishwasher soap, but you'll want to bring some with you or buy from the local shop.
