Part of the drive will be curvy and include a couple steep portions. We recommend a 4WD ( 4 wheel drive) and AWD (all wheel drive) and/or tire chains to get up to the cabin during the winter season in the event of inclement weather. Wildlife: Since the cabin is in the wilderness area, you will likely see and hear critters. As much as we try to prevent pest with a comprehensive pest control process and monthly treatments, there may still be visits from 0-10 legged creatures. (i.e. millipeads, ladybugs, squirrels, etc) in the cabin. Please help prevent this by closing entry doors when not in use. Lastly it isn’t uncommon to encounter wildlife animals, such as bears while staying in the cabins in the Smoky Mountains. Please keep your distance, close your car windows, and lock your doors. Do not leave food in your car or unattended outside the cabin. Wifi: Due to the location of the property the wifi connection may be unstable at times. Guest access You will receive a personalized key code for the front door a few days before check in. Easily park two mid size cars in the driveway. Other things to note Amenities: Our cleaning service provides start up supplies including: Paper towels, dish soap, dish washer soap, kitchen can liners, toilet paper, hand soap, and bathroom can liners. Depending on the length of your stay, you may need to purchase additional items when the initial supply run out. Toiletries such as bath soap, shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, and floss are not provided. Private Hot Tub: Glass is not allowed near the hot tub, you are not allowed to use the hot tub if you have consumed alcohol or are pregnant. Use the hot tub at your own risk! Games: Board games are stored in the entertainment center below the TV Security: NO indoor cameras Home is equipped with a decibel monitoring sensor located inside and outside of the home. Removing the decibel monitor will result in a full security deposit loss. There are three outdoor security cameras, two on the front porch and one facing the driveway. Smoking: Absolutely NO smoking indoors Refunds: We do not offer refunds for weather or natural disasters. We recommend the purchase of travel insurance for all planned vacations.
