This peaceful and centrally located basement level retreat can be found at the back of a quiet cul de sac. Located just a few miles away from Liberty and Lynchburg University. Nearby grocery and restaurant services, this house promises a comfortable stay and the beauty of convenience. Finally, you'll find yourself with easy access to Poplar Forest, Blackwater Creek, and a variety of the best attractions that Lynchburg has to offer. The space This is an entire, private, basement suite with its own private entrance. It includes a queen bed, convertible couch that pulls out and folds down to a queen bed and futon accessibility. There is more than enough space for you and your family and friends to relax here! TV and wifi are available to enhance your stay, as well as fans, a space heater, and a variety of kitchen gadgets. My wife and I are the hosts and live in the upstairs portion of the house so some foot traffic will inevitably be heard during your stay. There are security cameras on the outside of the property covering all entrances and property owner vehicles. Guest access Guests are welcomed to the entire lower level of this single family home. There is not enough room in the driveway for guests, but guests can park for free right by our mailbox with street lamp lighting the area. A quick walk up the driveway and around the backyard takes you to your own private entrance of the basement. The path may be difficult if elderly or disabled. The driveway and walkway are also gravel so it may also be difficult if you plan on bringing wheeled luggage. You'll find yourself with a private and safe entrance conveniently located at the back of the house. Other things to note My wife and I are the hosts and live upstairs. We always make our best efforts to make sure guests are comfortable and not disturbed, but there will be some foot traffic while we are home including getting up for work in the morning during the week. We are most likely to be active outside of the listed quiet hours. We will try to inform guests if we are arriving home later at night and put our best efforts to not wake guests. As with any other time we are active, footsteps will be inevitably heard. If you are seeking solitude and/or a light sleeper, please be aware of this! We encourage any guests who plan on going to sleep at an earlier time than our quiet hours, to let us know. The hours are set around our active times, but we can make sure to adjust, such as keeping the tv down, if guests wish for an earlier bedtime. NOTE: Since this is our home, we do not allow any smoking or vaping of any kind. Any evidence of doing so in the house will lead to an additional $50 charge for extra cleaning. The walkway leading to the airbnb is mostly a ramp, but it can be slightly steep in sections. This may not be ideal for elderly or disabled guests. Though this rental does not come with a full kitchen, there is a mini-fridge, microwave, and complementary coffee to make your stay a little more cozy! The couch pulls out at the bottom and folds down at the top to create a queen sized mattress. A queen sized Air Mattress is available in the bedroom.
