This comfortable home from home is ideal for couples, families & groups with or without pets. We hope you will have a fantastic holiday exploring the Dorset countryside, beaches & year round attractions in the area. The space Overcombe Mill barn style cottage offers family and pet friendly luxury and is spotlessly clean complemented with all the comfortable home furnishings you need on holiday. The spacious open plan, living/dining creates an area for everyone to come together and enjoy meals with a view over the stunning scenery or relax in front of the smart TV with great Wifi service. In the new modern kitchen you will find a range of appliances, including a dishwasher, fridge-freezer and washer/dryer along with ambient LED lighting. The cottage has three cosy bedrooms each with its own smart TV and blackout blinds. The impressive master bedroom is on the ground floor which has a large ensuite, and upstairs a further bathroom with on demand hot water and two bedrooms with comfortable zip lock beds that can be converted into twins or superking. Outside you can enjoy the views of the countryside from your own private enclosed decking/garden which is suitable for children and pets. If you choose to venture out, there are local walks from the property and the Jurassic Trail. Blue bell season is upon us and there are many forests to view the stunning sea of blue just a short drive from the cottage. There are a number of different types of local beaches (quiet, pet friendly, family friendly, soft shelving sand, swimmers paradise, fishing heaven) to cliff top walks and promenade or harbourside strolls as well as the main tourist attractions of the region - Monkey World, Sand world, The Sealife Centre, The Portland Sculpture Park, Corfe Castle, Swanage Steam Railway, Dorchester Museums, The Tank Museum... The list goes on. We would be happy to suggest ideas for your specific interests if you choose to stay with us at Wey Meadow Cottages. Guest access The cottage is entirely yours, with 2 parking spaces at the front of each cottage. There is an enclosed private garden and decking area with your own use of BBQ and garden furniture. The yard is for equine customers and their horses, for your safety please don't explore alone, however we would be happy to show you round. There are also public footpaths accessible from the cottages, please see map on wall in hall! Other things to note The upstairs bedrooms have a sloped ceiling. Cottages are set adjacent to a working livery yard.
