Suburban Bush Retreat Guest House

Comfortable, self-contained guest house behind and separate to our family home, with access to the pool and entertainment area. In the leafy suburb of Engadine, in Sydney's south, our property is located on the doorstep of the Royal National Park and Heathcote National Park. Either relax by the pool or spend the day walking in the National Parks (or both), or simply stay with us if you're looking for a comfortable bed in the area. The space The guest house has 2 bedrooms, kitchen/living area with a 2 seater lounge and dining table/chairs for 4 people with small bathroom all located within a self-contained unit behind (separate from) the family home. 1 x Queen bed 1 x King bed Please note: Infants/children under 2 are welcome if you are able to provide your own portacot etc as the guesthouse does not have these facilities. The guesthouse has 1 bathroom, which is a small narrow space. Guests are invited and most welcome to use the solar heated pool, outdoor (undercover) entertaining/bar. BYO as we don't supply any drinks. Guest access Guests will have their own designated parking (off-street) on the driveway (to the left of the main house) leading up to the guest house. Access to the guest house is via the entertaining area, which has 3 steps up onto the decking and then 3 steps down into the guest house. Other things to note The solar pool heating is turned on between October and April which is the warmest time of the year. Outside of this time we found there isn't enough sun to properly heat the pool in the colder months. To maintain the perfect swimming temperature and keep the water clean, the pool cover is kept on when the pool is not in use.
