A true island retreat.a The space This luxurious 5400 square-foot custom-designed Mediterranean villa is nestled in a peaceful neighborhood on 1.3 acres, surrounded by lush mountains and expansive ocean views. The home features 7 spacious bedrooms, 6.5 bathrooms, and a large gourmet kitchen with a Viking range, perfect for those who love cooking for family and friends. There are 4 cozy living areas for gatherings, a bar with extra dining space, and a media room with an 85-inch TV and surround sound. Unwind in the hot tub or indoor Jacuzzi bathtub, enjoy outdoor dining with a barbecue, or have fun with the snooker and ping pong tables. A library of books adds to the charm. The elegant decor includes soaring dome ceilings, chandeliers, a curved staircase with custom iron railings, a grand 10-foot entry door, and a combination of travertine and wood flooring. The spacious kitchen is a true centerpiece. Outside, enjoy breathtaking ocean views from the garden, which features gazebos, a pond, and fruit trees. Guest access The best way to explore Vancouver Island is by car, offering you the freedom to discover all that the island has to offer. You can take a ferry from Tsawwassen to Duke Point or from Horseshoe Bay to Nanaimo, or fly into Nanaimo Airport and rent a vehicle. Alternatively, you can visit Victoria and enjoy a day of sightseeing before continuing your journey. Most locations on the island offer free parking, making it easy to get around. To preserve the floors and walls, we kindly ask that guests refrain from moving furniture. Our neighborhood is quiet, and sound travels easily. Please be mindful of neighbors and keep noise, especially music, at a moderate level to avoid disturbance. No sub wafers permitted Outdoor security cameras are located at the front, back, and side of the property, and a noise-detecting device is placed inside the house. Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Pets: One small pet is allowed with prior approval, and pet fees are applicable. Garbage and Recycling: Guests will be informed of garbage and recycling collection days and are expected to take out bins if their stay coincides with collection dates. Winter Considerations: In the winter, guests are responsible for clearing snow from the driveway and stairs. Salt will be provided. Parking: Ample parking is available on the driveway and street. Please advise if number of cars will exceed 6 Smoking: This is a smoke-free property. Events: Small weddings and special events are permitted with prior approval. A fee may apply for special events.
