Tucked away behind the main road, this “Fairgrounds Flat” studio apartment is centrally located in historic Carlisle Borough. Sparkling clean, contemporary stying, and filled with amenities, you will feel you are at a home-away-from-home. Enjoy a quiet evening on the beautifully arbored deck. An easy ten minute walk will bring you to the heart of downtown where everything is at your fingertips. We live on the property, so you may run into us and our friendly pup, Lily. That means we can also be available for any needs that may arise. If you are concerned about your privacy, don’t worry, we mind our own business and won’t intrude. Carlisle is in the middle of a revival! There are so many new places to eat, drink, visit, and explore. Downtown is a short, 10 min. walk and everything is there. A few of our favorite places to dine are Mt Fuji for sushi, Molly Pitchers Brewery for good burgers, 113 Social has a good selection of American cuisine and beverages, Redd’s Smokehouse boasts delicious BBQ, Yak n Yeti serves fantastic Himalayan/Nepalese food, Taqueria Laurita for taco truck style Mexican (and cheap), Market Cross Pub is a big local favorite, Carlisle Thai Cuisine doesn’t look like much but is pretty decent, Gingerbread Man is the local dive bar and oldest one of its name, Square Bean or Denim for coffee and breakfast. There are so many other places to choose, you really can’t go wrong. Our place is a quick 10-minute walk to downtown. If the shoe leather express doesn’t suit you, or the weather interferes, there is ample street parking downtown. The spaces are metered but parking is free after 4pm on weekdays, and all weekend and holidays. There is also garage parking at the listed prices. Everything in the space is for guest use. The “kitchenette” does not include a stove but there is a microwave. A toaster oven can be available for use upon request. Please make yourself as at home as possible.
