The space This one bedroomed ground floor apartment embodies the romance of the old farmhouse but also has modern touches to add to the comfort and convenience of the space. The kitchen/dining/livingroom area is located in the original farmhouse kitchen and still retains some of the old building’s features. An exposed shipwreck beam spans the ceiling of the livingroom; the original step ladder to the overhead trap door is still in place where it once lead to the kitchen maid’s room but is no longer in use. The old sash windows spill the living space with sunlight from early morning. The apartment has central heating and an electric stove so it’ll be cosy no matter what time of the year you visit. The kitchen is fully equipped including a gas hob, electric oven and microwave. The beautifully appointed bedroom has a modern wet room ensuite.
