Located within the heart of the bustling beach town of Turkey Point. This spacious, well appointed 2 bed/1 bath fully winterized house boasts 835 sq ft and sleeps 5 inside & 4 in the non-winterized bunkie. Within walking distance to everything but just enough away from the main intersection to leave it all, at the end of your beach day. Gas fireplace and hot tub for cooler months is available from the fall to spring & AC is available in the summer months only. BBQ is available all year long. The space **Please be aware this is not a 3 bdrm cottage. There are beds listed in the "third bedroom" because of the seasonal Bunkie ($). The main cottage is a 2 BDRM, 1 bath suitable for groups for four adults and one lighter smaller person under 150 pounds for the top bunk. Each bedroom has a ceiling fan and a heating device, although the ductless heating unit in the living room is usually more than enough. Turn on the gas fireplace for a bit of ambience (but please use the thermostat feature so it doesn't run constantly $$$) PLEASE READ THE AMENITY LIMITATIONS SECTION FOR INFO ABOUT WHAT IS INCLUDED/NOT SO AS TO PACK APPROPRIATELY FOR EXAMPLE SHEETS, TOP BLANKETS AND PAPER PRODUCTS Oct 15-May 15 (give or take pending the weather, please inquire within) bookings are for the main house only. Sheets, top blankets and beach towels are not included. Please bring your top blankets appropriate for the weather you are booking for. We offer mattress and pillow protectors and pillows. The seasonal Bunkie dates are subject to the weather, but give or take from May 15-Oct 15, at an additional charge of $150 per stay plus the additional cost per person over 4. There are 2 queen beds in the Bunkie and it is equipped with a portable AC unit, an electric fireplace and a ceiling fan. Please keep in mind, that if renting the Bunkie the maximum occupancy is still 8 at any time (including day guests) regardless of extra space in beds as we are on a limited holding tank and will be verified on check in and on the rental agreement. The hot tub is only available exclusively from October to April. We offer parking for 3-4 vehicles. The gate might need to be opened to accommodate the 4th vehicle leaving the backyard not enclosed. A keypad entry with numeric code for contactless entry on the side door from the driveway. You'll walk into the open-concept, stair free beachy vibe living room and kitchen space with a Euro-style wall mounted duo AC/heating unit. A full coat closet, propane fireplace (connected seasonally), big screen smart TV, spacious leather sectional sofa and breakfast bar are the first things you'll see when you enter. Head right and you'll access the larger indoor seating area, desk and front deck A well stocked kitchen complete with full sized fridge/freezer combo and a dishwasher with a smaller seating area at the table in the kitchen, a larger table in the living room and breakfast bar. Two large bedrooms on the back of the house so you won't be disturbed by any street noise with tons of natural light, yet equipped with California shutters to block out any unwanted light. Bdrm one has a queen bed and ceiling fan and bdrm two has a double/twin bunk bed with ceiling fan. A full sized shower with more settings than you need will help wash away that sand and refresh you for a night out in the town. A separate back door will lead you to another spacious deck within a fully fenced back yard to BBQ, sit at the outdoor dining table, gather around the lounge set, suntan in the loungers or have a fire around the pit. We are on a holding tank system, so please be mindful of how much water goes down the sinks/flushes to avoid costly pumps or additional costs to us and our delicate system. We have an outdoor shower to rinse off after the beach which must be used before entering the house and/or the hot tub. (if seasonally possible). We reserve the right to limit the amount of guests and nights available pending how much space is available in the tank. Extra amenity ($) The covered bar area leads you to the Bunkie less than 12 steps away from the main house which offers 2 additional queen murphy beds and electricity. The Bunkie house is available to groups over 4 adults and additional charge of $150 per stay flat fee must be required to pay through the request money function on the site. This is not included in the initial price of your reservation. It is also available to groups smaller than 4 adults, but the above applies. Only available in warmer months. Hosts are not responsible for adverse weather conditions after your booking or during your stay, therefore no refunds will be given. **Unavailable from June 1- Sept 15 the hot tub will not be available for the warmer months. Please do not sit in it, attempt to fill it up or use it for any other purpose.** Guest access You can walk everywhere in Turkey Point as it is flat and we are located on the main strip to everything. A 3 minute walk to the quieter end of the public beach via Jenny Wren Lane. An 8 minute walk to the main entrance of the beach. A 3 minute walk in the opposite direction to the licensed LCBO?Beer store located within the Turkey Point food market, or head an extra half block to Kelly's Cove and indulge in hand-cut fries, shawarmas, wings, burgers, ice cream and funnel cakes! (seasonal only pls check online). Other things to note We are on a holding tank for the water. We ask that you be mindful of your water use/flushing/running unnecessary water down the tap. We reserve the right of limiting larger groups for this matter pending the last pump out. We also need to let the pumping company have access to the backyard when this service needs to be done which may happen during a reservation period, as they're not local to the town and are only available on certain days. The tank is in the middle of the backyard, and can be a tripping hazard. Please be aware of its location. We ask that our guests keep an eye on the stick. If it starts to raise, or is raised significantly (there are lines on it), please notify us immediately to schedule a pump out. Laundry facilities are therefore unavailable to our guests for stays 10 nights or less. We do not provide blankets or beach towels. We do provide towels to be used for showering, hot tub use (seasonal), hand towels and a tea towel but these must remain on the property at all times. We also provide dish soap, and a dishwasher tab or two. Please read the bed size descriptions to bring appropriately sized sheets/covers for your stay We also do not provide toilet paper or paper towels but if a previous guest has left some behind, we ask that you leave the same amount as a courtesy to the guests after you
