‘Heart of Oak’ This beautiful shepherd’s hut is ideally placed between Bath and Bristol, right in the middle of the countryside on the edge of the Cotswold Way, a walker’s delight in any season. With open views across the land and plenty of long walks for those inclined to stretch their legs and fill their lungs with fresh air, this is a perfect hideaway for 2. Just 7 miles from the historic city of Bath designated a UNESCO world heritage site and 8 miles from vibrant Bristol The space This shepherds hut has been designed to be a luxurious hideaway for those who want some quiet time away from the busy, hectic outside world. It sits adjacent to a working farm, in the garden of an old mill house, with a brook running alongside. There’s a kitchen area well equipped with all you need for self-catering, a double bed with warm and fluffy linen, there’s a table for 2 for breakfast, a little sofa in front of the log burner, a bathroom with shower and plenty of hot water, a heated towel rail, and a toilet that flushes…. And all beautifully clean, and sparkling. This cosy ‘Heart of Oak’ has been built to high specifications with underfloor heating, and a log burner to keep you warm on chilly evenings. Guest access The outside space consists of a private covered BBQ area and a patio area with firepit close to a private hot tub, use is subject to availability. If using the tub we would suggest you bring a robe and flip flops. Other things to note Well behaved Dog(s) are welcomed at an extra cost of £10 per night. The Hut is situated on a working farm so expect some associated noises. There are many pleasant walks hereabouts, some passing dog friendly watering holes, most serving good food. The Swan Inn, provides Bath Ales and excellent grub for both lunch and dinner and is only 3 minutes walk away!
