Our idyllic cottage from 1730 is located in the middle of the old village center of Wilkenburg (Hemmingen), surrounded by a nature reserve. A breathtaking swimming lake (100 m) and many paths into nature are just a stone's throw away. The city center of Hanover, the Maschsee and the Hanover trade fair can be reached in a 5-10 minute drive. The accommodation Look forward to an air-conditioned, beautifully designed holiday home on two floors with four bedrooms, an open kitchen-living room and two bathrooms. Our house was lovingly renovated in 2021 and now offers luxury and comfort on 150 m² of living space. It can accommodate a family or a group of up to 10 people. In doing so, we made sure that the charm of the old house was largely retained and that modern comforts moved in. The house offers air conditioning, underfloor heating and WiFi (1,000 Mbit) in every room. Ground floor You let yourself in using a keypad (or the NUKI app with an access code) and enter the house through a sky-blue front door. You can hang your jacket on the Art Nouveau cloakroom and continue on antique tiles to the first bedroom (individual room description below). Continuing straight ahead, you pass the curved staircase and now you reach the living room with open kitchen. The living room with its large window front with its extravagant designer couch and the huge Samsung Smart TV (8K, 75 inches, 189 cm diagonal, Netflix, Amazon Prime, AppleTV) invites you to enjoy first-class cinema enjoyment. The luxury kitchen offers all the conveniences and technical refinements that one could wish for: • Induction cooker with 5 hobs and downdraft fan (extractor hood downwards) from Gutmann • Spacious refrigerator with a large freezer underneath from Siemens • Oven with integrated microwave and WIFI from Siemens • Siemens dishwasher • WMF pots, pans and cutlery • Crockery for 12 people from Friesland • Wine, champagne, water and unbreakable children's dishes • Coffee machine, toaster, kettle, hand mixer, hand blender • Spices, tea, salt, sugar, oil & vinegar • A spacious real wood dining table for 8 people with blue velvet chairs completes the open kitchen and guarantees nice and cozy dinners. The stylish bathroom in gold and royal blue has a rain shower and a bathtub for two. First floor The stairs lead to the upper floor. There are three bedrooms with incredibly comfortable box spring beds. In the shower room with rain shower, which is decorated with stylish metro tiles in light blue and silver, you will also find the XL washing machine and the large dryer, both from AEG, on the final shelf, you can easily fold the laundry. Otherwise, a travel cot, high chair, bottle warmer, microwave, children's dishes, games and books are available. The armchair in the twin room is ideal for breastfeeding. All sockets are protected by a FI switch. French balconies on all windows on the first floor. Round coffee table / side table. Weddings The event location: "Events am See" is approx. 400 m away. Celebrate a lavish wedding at "Events am See" and then spend the night in our elegant and stylish wedding room. Your relatives and friends can of course stay with you in the house. Utility rooms: We offer 2 utility rooms with a vacuum robot, vacuum cleaner, iron, ironing board, bed linen and towels.
