Welcome to our dog-friendly waterfront getaway with adjacent hiking trails, and direct access to paddle Lake Erie and the Big Creek Watershed. It's the perfect base for birdwatching, fishing, and watersports. Enjoy cozy spaces, modern comforts, and unobstructed lake and night sky views in every season. Unwind in the hot tub, and recharge in front of the fireplace. The cottage is located in the heart of the wine route near golfing, cultural tourism, and the nightlife of Windsor. Big dogs, yes! The space The last home on a quiet lane of ten, our cottage borders Big Creek Marsh and a long expanse of protected shoreline where herons, swans, and sunsets fill the view. You can walk the conservation trails, kayak to a winery, or soak in the hot tub by the lake. Inside, an open great room with sweeping windows connects kitchen, dining, and lounging spaces- perfect for unwinding together. The space comfortably sleeps six across three bedrooms with 1.5 baths. Dogs are not just welcome here, they are our best and happiest guests! Guest access Guests enjoy the entire home and property. Other things to note We are a licensed Short Term Rental property with the Town of Amherstburg. To comply with the bylaws, some use restrictions apply, and open wood fires are prohibited. We've installed a propane fire pit so that you can still enjoy a cozy night on our waterfront point! Are you travelling with a pet? Be sure to let us know so that we can properly welcome them with all the comforts humans enjoy... bed, robe, towels, dishes. Seasonally (spring through fall), your dog can enjoy the outdoor wash station with heated water and a professional-grade fur dryer. It's hard to have fun without getting dirty, and that's okay!
