Perfect for nature-lovers, this unique property is situated on it's own in the centre of our farm. Down a 1/4 mile lane with no neighbours, you'll be in your own little world. If you do venture out- it's only a few miles to the beach, Bude or Boscastle- you can see the sea from the garden. Or you could explore the surrounding farmland and footpaths- lots of beautiful woodland & wildlife. Almost no light pollution makes it the perfect for hot tub star gazing in the hot tub. Dogs very welcome! The space The Folly is a quirky farm cottage with inglenook fireplace and woodburner. Beautiful character features like beams and stained glass windows, but recently redecorated to high standard. Ground Floor Kitchen Well-equipped kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine, fridge-freezer, induction hob, oven, microwave, kettle, toaster and Tassimo coffee machine. Plenty of pots, pans and cooking utensils. Sabatier knives. Quality glassware, crockery and cutlery. Rechargeable Bluetooth speaker to play your own cooking playlist. We supply cleaning & washing up products and equipment for your stay, including ecover dishwasher tablets, tea towels and hand wash. There is also an iron and ironing board, clothes airer, vacuum cleaner and a clothes line outdoors for all your beachwear. Living Room Perfect for cosy evenings in. 2 button-back leather sofas with plenty of cushions. TV with Amazon firestick to stream using our super fast broadband (guest's own streaming account login required). Clearview log burner within an amazing granite inglenook fireplace (unlimited logs, kindling etc provided). Dining room Beautiful light room with solid wood table and chairs. Seats 6. Shower room Power shower, WC and sink. Toilet paper, hand soap and towels supplied. First Floor Main bedroom Solid wood Superking bed with Emma Mattress. Half wardrobe with drawers and dressing table. Decorated to a high standard with artisanal lampshade and pictures. 2nd Bedroom Beautiful King sized bed with Emma Mattress, chest of drawers and wall hooks for clothing. 3rd Bedroom Cheerfully decorated room with single bed and chest of drawers. Family Bathroom Quirky eaves bathroom with WC, sink and bath. Shaving socket and light. Hand soap, toilet roll and towels provided. The Outside Space is the main event here- 360 degree countryside views, birds of prey spotted regularly, no neighbours, gorgeous sunsets/star gazing- you can even see the sea! There is parking for up to 3 cars within the gated garden- the whole plot is around 1/3 acre with a mix of lawn and mature shrub borders, hot tub with amazing views, firebowl area with seating and a weber bbq. There are several seating areas- a large wooden picnic table and benches, a lovely bistro set (perfect for your morning cuppa) The location makes this property truly unique and is the perfect place to escape from the rest of the world Rolec EV charger in parking area. Guest access Private 1/3 acre gated garden with parking for 2-3 cars, cottage, hot tub, fire pit. We also own all of the surrounding farm and woodland so there are lots of lovely walking opportunities. Other things to note As this is a character property, the ceilings in the living room, kitchen and family bathroom and some doorways are lower than modern standards. There are internal steps between rooms. Please note that the hot tub is unfenced. This is a strictly no-smoking property- no smoking/vaping in or within 5 metres of the cottage. Additional charges may be levied if this is not adhered to. The use of illegal substances will lead to your stay being immediately terminated. We accept up to 4 well behaved dogs per stay. Dogs must not be left alone in the property. NO DOGS UPSTAIRS. A £50 per bed laundry charge will be levied if there is evidence of dogs on beds. Guests must confirm that they have read and will adhere to the hot tub safety guidance and usage instructions prior to arrival. Failure to do this will result in the hot tub not being made available during your stay. The hot tub is only for the use of guests listed on the booking form. The water will be checked by a member of staff daily in accordance with UK legislature. The hot tub must not be used by children under the age of 5 under any circumstances. Please note that this property is suitable for 5 guests maximum from 30/09/23, including children. If maximum occupancy is found to be exceeded, you will be asked to leave immediately. No events/parties. Guest names must be supplied at booking in accordance with UK legislature. The hot tub will be drained, cleaned and refilled prior to your arrival. For this reason it may not be completely up to temperature at the time your arrival. Your group must be compliant with any government restrictions in place at the time of stay.
