Sadie's Studio Suite

A private studio apartment attaches to the end of a residentially home with a private entrance. The Studio Suite is centrally located and conveniently situated in a quiet and friendly neighborhood located about one mile from Historic Taos Plaza and Kit Carson Park. It is walking distance to many neighborhood conveniences. The spacious apartment has a queen size bed and private full bath. There is off street assigned parking, with motion lights, a covered and lighted porch entry. The space Centrally located with easy access to the main thoroughfare, the Studio Suite is a spacious sleeping room with a full bathroom. It has a private lighted covered entrance and lighted off street parking. The apartment accommodates two people, with 322 square feet. The main room has bamboo floors, and the bathroom floor is with saltio tiles. The Studio Suite is heated by a central forced air furnace. The thermostat is located in the main house. The forced air vent can be monitored by the guest and there is an electric space heater.. Temperate control in the summer is accomplished using a window air conditioner and two ceiling fans. There is a queen size bed and a private full bathroom. There is a desk, large closet, a storage area for gear, a television with a Fire Stick, (Wi-Fi equipped for online streaming ) a mini-refrigerator and a coffee maker equipped with coffee, creamer and sweeteners, and a microwave. The Studio Suite has a small, partitioned covered patio, which extends to the shared backyard. The backyard includes a ramada for the Studio Suite, and views of Taos Mountain and the Sangre de Cristo range. Table and chairs are provided under the porch. Quiet time: After 10:00 pm. Guest access Assigned off street parking is provided for the Studio Suite, located on the left side of the house, with motion lights for your convenience. After parking, walk past the iron gate and immediately to your right you will find the Studio Suite entrance, under a covered and lighted porch. The key is in the lockbox to the left of the door. Check-in instructions and lockbox code are provided the day before check-in from Airbnb. The Studio Suite has a small, partitioned covered patio, which extends to the shared backyard. Other things to note A welcome book is provided in room, with guest information for restaurants and things to do. The elevation in Taos is 7,000 feet above sea level. In the summer, you can expect cool temperatures in the evening and early morning. In the winter, temperatures are much colder. However, since Taos is the “Solar Capital of the world”, you will be pleasantly surprised by our comfortable winter days. During the summer months the suite has a window air conditioner. Typically, during the summer season, the house remains cool. There are two ceiling fans. You can open windows in the evening for down sloping mountain breezes. Mid-summer temperatures, during the day time, range between mid-70's to mid-80's. Overnight lows 46-51. It is suggested to close windows by 8AM to keep the suite cool. There is an exterior solar shade on the bedroom window that can be raised or lowered by guests. Taos is high desert, as such, benign insects may occasionally find their way into the apartment. Out of consideration for health and environment, pesticides are not used. During the winter season, the snow falls mostly on the mountains. Snow on the ground, in Taos, may last a day or two and the streets are well maintained by the Town of Taos. The Studio Suite is divided from the main house by an insulated wall.
