Private Historical home near the Silk Stocking District! Close to many of Galveston's best attractions such as the beach, the Pleasure Pier, & Downtown Strand & Nightlife. Modern touches mixed with Victorian hardwood floors & granite counters. We have a small pool in the beautiful backyard. 4 Queen beds, sofa, 3 TVs. 5 minute walk to the beach. 2 min. walk to Playground, skate park, tennis courts, splash pad. Good for families & groups. No pets allowed. The space We fell in love with the silk stocking district and wanted to have place of our own here. When we first saw the place we knew it was the one. It was a diamond in the rough but we saw the possibilities and embraced the challenge of the two year restoration. We replaced the siding on the home, added a laundry room and totally remodeled the kitchen and bathroom. We added a back deck and relocated the back door to make the space more livable. The granite counters, custom lighting, and more open concept make the living space warm and inviting. We try to add all the creature comforts we would want in a home so our guests feel at home. The showers are beautifully tiled and the European style frameless glass shower doors along with dual shower heads make showering a luxurious experience. We added a new pool and backyard makeover to make the place a perfect getaway! We had a blast putting this place together! Guest access The entire home is yours to use while staying at our place. The upper deck is just outside the "Bathing Beauty" room and is ideal for relaxing in the late evenings. The back deck is great for family time outside. The giant dining room table can seat 10 comfortably plus room for 4 more at the bar. We have a large BBQ pit/smoker for charcoal use if grilling is your thing. The garage out back is not part of the rental since it has our own equipment in it. There is parking in our driveway for two vehicles. There is also usually plenty of street parking available. No permit or parking fees are required. Other things to note Sunscreen and hats can help protect you in the summer from coming home with a painful sunburn. We supply towels and bedding but you will need to bring beach towels. Please rinse off all sand before entering the house. The home is in a residential neighborhood so please respect our neighbor's by not blocking driveways, or any other thing you would not do at home. If you play music make sure it is not so loud that it disturbs others in the homes nearby. No smoking, candles, or open flames of any kind are allowed inside our home. There is a small pool so be aware and cautious, swimming is at your own risk. It is only 3 feet deep, so NO DIVING for your own protection. Registration Details GVR-05053
