Tuscan country house between Lucca and Florence

La Casa Vigna is a classic country house in the hills above Montecatini Alto in northern Tuscany between Lucca and Florence. The house is beautifully situated on a slope approx. 400 m. above sea level among own olive trees and vines with a fantastic view as far as the eye can see. There are good opportunities to visit olive mills and wineries in the area, play golf, cycle or go hiking in the hilly countryside. There is a saltwater pool and inside there is Starlink internet and smart tv. The space La Casa Vigna was built in 1903 as a classic Tuscan winery. The property, which is approx. 250 m2, is located in the beautiful Tuscan mountains among its own olive trees and vines. The house was renovated in 2012 and is newly furnished in the spring of 2022. There is a kitchen with a SMEG gas/electric stove and dishwasher, as well as a utility room with a large refrigerator and a separate freezer. Both the dining room and the living room have a fireplace, which is only used in early spring and late autumn. Life is lived outside in La Casa Vigna. The food is prepared on the Weber gas grill or in the Italian pizza oven, and is subsequently enjoyed with a glass of wine at the large plank table. Under the pergola, the fabulous views can be enjoyed over a drink in the delicious lounge area. A few steps away is the lovely saltwater pool with sun loungers and parasols around. The house, which can accommodate 10 people, contains 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms as well as a guest toilet with washer and dryer. There is a further external and private storage room with its own entrance. On the ground floor there is 1 bedroom with ensuite bathroom. On the first floor there are a total of 4 bedrooms. 2 of the bedrooms are connected by a common entrance (lockable door in between) and a shared bathroom. However, one bedroom can use the toilet on the ground floor. Both bedrooms are furnished with double beds. The last 2 bedrooms both have their own entrance. Between the rooms there is a large bathroom which is shared. One bedroom is with a double bed. The second bedroom is with two single beds w. 90 cm (placed as one double bed). Finally there is a private storage room used by the cleaning. In there, there is 1 x weekend bed and 1 x baby chair for the smallest in the family. If needed, please send request before arrival. Internet is Starlink high-speed internet and there is Smart TV in the living room. There are also 2 wifi extenders in the house (hall 1. first and dining room). Wifi code is shown on the extenders. Guest access Rental of complete house that is not shared with others. Other things to note Cleaning includes bath towels and linen. Pool towels must be brought from home. If needed, extra cleaning can be ordered for 20 euros per. hour. For electricity, 200 kw per. week is included. Extra electricity is settled after departure. In addition to the rental price, the municipality tourist tax must be paid locally on site. The tourist tax is 5 euros per. person pr. week (except children under 12 years). The tourist tax is paid in cash to our property administrator, Lars, who will come by in connection with cleaning the pool.
