Schoolhouse

The School House was originally an Edwardian school masters house. It is in the centre of the village within walking distance or a short drive to a good selection of pubs and restaurants. It is also at the crossroads of several public footpaths leading to beautiful woodland walks. It has a garden with a patio, lawn and lovely old apple tree. The space The house has high ceilings and large rooms with some beautiful original windows, and some recently replaced with double glazing in the Victorian style. The house has been recently redecorated and has modern heating and bathrooms. Guest access Guests have access to all the rooms as listed, i.e. 3 double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 1 downstairs toilet plus sitting room, children's playroom, utility room, lounge, and large kitchen/diner open to a garden room with French windows. There is a covered decking area, outside in the mature garden, with a large table and chairs for outside dining. There is children's outside play equipment available, and the apple tree is suitable for climbing (age appropriate and suitably supervised). Other things to note N.B. This is our family home, particularly suitable for families with children. We do not accept 'work parties' or guests who are not registered on Airbnb. The person who books must be the lead guest, taking personal responsibility for all guests respecting house rules.
