A luxury 6m dome with a King Size 4 Poster bed, wood stove, private bathroom, decked terraces, kitchen area, fire pit and on-site alcohol sales, selling wine, beer and local cider. Situated next to the forest perfectly between the hills of Dartmoor and the coast of North Devon and Cornwall. Hot tub preheating available for £30 (water temperature of 32-38c is pleasant) The space The Crooked Billet is a one of a kind, unique holiday destination taking "glamping" to another dimension! A 6m luxury geodome with a King Size 4 poster bed The Crooked Billet has 2 terrace areas that look over the valley to Dartmoor to from tranquil farmland in the heart of the magical Devon countryside, The Crooked Billet due to its spellbinding location, offers that rare mix of tranquility and modern day convenience. Only a 5 minute walk, up a quiet country lane, from a wealth of local amenities including a lovely village pub, a Post Office, a Take Away and two very well stocked local convenience stores not to mention the fishing lakes, forest walks, the coast, horse riding stables and Dartmoor on the door step! The Crooked Billet is set up to accommodate 2 people but we can accommodate up to 4 by request. There is a hot shower and proper flushing loo as well as 2 terrace areas with rattan furniture and a table and chairs, fire pit, and BBQ (with BBQ tools) for you to use on site. There are lanterns, lamps and ceiling lights and a cosy wood fired stove, which is very effective at keeping the Crooked Billet toasty! We provide bedding, towels, blankets, a hand towel, a fridge, cutlery, plates and bowls, cups and glasses. Please bring your own shower products. Pre-heating of hot tub available for £30 and please note hot tub is wood fired so can take anywhere between 1 and 3 hours to heat to 32 degrees, depending on air temperature. Guest access The Crooked billet is set in the heart of the Devon countryside on a farm, where you'll have access to your own private proper flushing toilet and hot shower, two terraces with rattan furniture, a BBQ & a Fire Pit, wooden picnic bench and garden chairs. Other things to note 2 large nets of wood provided for the hot tub. Pre-heating of hot tub available for £30 and please note hot tub is wood fired so can take anywhere between 1 and 3 hours to heat to 30+ degrees, depending on air temperature. Some fire wood is provided for the dome but if you require more, large bags are available for £8 per bag.
