Kima guests are typically early risers and like to spend their time outdoors, eating out and at the beach by day. *** BIRDS & BINS - Just a note that you may expect some early morning birds rising, adding to the local vibes depending on the time of year as well as an early morning bin collection day. *** IDEALLY TUCKED AWAY FROM FAST FOOD KITCHEN SMELLS & LATE NIGHT BAR/RESTAURANT LICENSES (Kima is positioned with dual street access in between Sir Thomas Mitchell Road and Lamrock Street) - Thankfully Kima being on the south side is ideally positioned away and to the side (but close enough to come in and out) of the central restaurant and bar area that includes fast food chains, late night bar licenses, early morning bin collection happening daily and rattling daily glass bottle drops offs and collections. This busy area starts at Campbell Parade and runs in a rectangle inside the streets of Lamrock St and Beach Road and goes back to Glenayr street. Airbnb depicts this rectangle in the darkened patch on the Airbnb map view. The only restaurant smells for Kima comes from the Italian restaurant Gelbison depending on the winds which guides people's noses directly to the restaurant. Guests absolutely fall in love with Kima’s position and its more residential vibe. *** RESIDENTIAL RENOVATION PROJECTS IN BONDI BEACH - Being so close to the Bondi Beach central beach precinct also means that there is always a renovation project in play in the neighbouring area on Campbell Parade. Live projects such as "Mayfair" currently tend to be slow moving, at different stages, work being carried out on different tasks, start, stop periodically and work on different days. Work is always during tradesman hours by day and difficult to predict, as well as being weather dependent. A consideration point for regular work from homers who may need to be open to hit the cafes to work out of, to mix up being at home. New lux buildings are a reality in Bondi Beach (just like staying in any hotel in the city) and come with the territory as it's thriving in gentrification. 2 guests in January extended their stays in January.
