Renovated, classic cottage on Ann St. Dog friendly with fenced backyard for small additional fee! Perfect for groups/families. A short block to the water or Mill Whistle Brewing, a mile or less to all of historic downtown. Easy trip by foot, bike or golf cart. Bikes and Kayaks available for guest use. Close to tennis/b-ball courts. Unwind on the porches - front or back, in one of the 2 living rooms, well appointed kitchen. Two living rooms - both with large TVs and Roku. Lots of books and games. Kitchen is well appointed with spices, and cookware. Kayaks and cruiser bikes available at the house. Very close to wildlife ramp and Fisherman's Park to launch either a big boat or a small one. Ample off street parking for a boat trailer - including covered parking with access to house for rainy days. You will have access to everything in the home with exception of locked owners closet and loft. Someone is nearby for issues that may arise. I am just a text away. In Beaufort, life slows down. The scenery on the waterfront is breathtaking. You can watch the wild ponies, birds and dolphins walking down Front St or while grabbing a drink or dinner at one of the many waterfront restaurants. Hop on a ferry to Shackleford Banks for the day. Party late into the night in one of the coolest old bars - Backstreet Pub. Or just wander around downtown; shop the stores, stop at the Farmer's market on Saturday, grab local fresh seafood, eat ice cream and fudge at the General Store, and wind down at home with a nice glass of wine on the porch. The beach is also just a short 10 minute drive away, if that's what you're after. We have food and wine festivals, music festivals, pirate festivals, fishing tournaments and a wonderful community! Come relax with us. Pay to park downtown. Or you can walk or bike easily from the house (about 1.3 miles to the farthest spot downtown). We have several bikes for your use. There is also bike rental at 127 Briar Patch Dr or golf cart rental/delivery from Sinclair's Golf Carts. We ask that if you be respectful of our neighbors who live here full time. No loud music outside after 10 pm please.
