Not a sophisticated resort, party pad, or secret hideout — raves, poolside ruckus, loud celebrations, décor, music, and alcohol/drugs are strictly off-limits. The space THE COTTAGE (2 BHK Cottage) - Rooms: Each room has a Double Bed, AC and Attached Bathroom with space for extra floor mattresses. - Bathrooms: Each bathroom has a Geyser, WC (Western Commode) and Health Faucet. (Bring your own Towels and Toiletries) - Kitchen: Equipped with Refrigerator, Gas Stove, Basic Kitchenware and Tableware. - Hall (Living Room): Arrangement for Seating / Dining. - Two Private Bedrooms with an attached Washroom. (Equipped with Lights, Fan, AC, Water Geyser, Western Commode with Health Faucet, Adequate Water Storage. No TV.) - Living Room with ample seating space. (Equipped with Lights, Fan and AC) - Kitchen (Equipped with Refrigerator, Microwave, Cooking Gas Stove, R.O. Water Purifier, Basic Cooking and Dining Kitchenware) OUTDOORS Developed as a cluster of seven cottages in a two-acre gated property, with a large common area for access and ample parking space in the front and large landscaped gardens in the back entirely interconnected to make one long walking track with uniquely designed break-out spaces to cut the monotony. - Sit-around Patio, Swings and Hammocks: Whether couples or large groups, there's something for everyone to relax or socialize. - Terrace: Enjoy the Dawn or Dusk or both. Bring along your Telescope or use mobile apps to find the stars and constellations. - Birdwatching: Not as easy as it might sound, spotting and identifying the species will need some patience and keen observation. Some common birds found on the campus include Peafowls, Parrots, Myna, Magpie, Bulbul, Ibis, Lapwing, Thick-knee, Sunbird, Dove, Bats and many more. - Nature and Co-existence: Our modest efforts towards creating a self sustaining ecosystem can be observed during your stay. Things like composting organic waste from our kitchen and garden, planting flowers and fruits and placing bird feeders to attract birds and bees for pollination and propagation, letting local species to grow and penetrate on its own to become a forest someday, having a small kitchen garden to grow seasonal vegetables and so on. Depending on the season, although we can’t guarantee to serve you fresh and naturally ripened mango, chickoo, gooseberry, jamun, pomegranate, custard apple or guava, you can definitely spot some flowering buds or raw fruits on the trees. MEAL OPTIONS: - You can cook on your own. (All ingredients are readily available at a nearby Mart) - Zomato / Swiggy serve the location with multiple restaurant options. The wait time can be higher at times due to remote location. - Nearby dine-in options include Havmor, Subway, Rasavat, US Pizza, Amrutfal (Kathiyawadi Dhaba) at a 10 Min drive. - The caretakers can make simple yet delicious gujarati meals cooked on desi chulha (wood fired stove) on request for additional cost. It typically comprises of Roti/Rotla, Sabji, Rice/Khichdi, Gujarati Dal/Kadhi. (Cost and menu options to be discussed directly with caretakers.) Guest access Entire cottage allotted for stay (we don't rent out single rooms) and the common lawns and sit-out areas across the campus. Other things to note House Rules: o No Alcohol, Drugs or any Banned/Illegal Substances allowed. o No Smoking inside the Cottage. o No parties, loud music, fire crackers, etc. without prior consent from owner. o No hard sports such as Cricket, Baseball, etc. that may potentially damage the lawns, plants, furniture, fixtures, windows, etc. o No decoration anywhere inside the cottage or in the garden. o No littering. Please manage the trash (House Waste, Kitchen Waste, Cigarette Butts, etc.) responsibly. o No unregistered guests and/or visitors allowed. Total number of guests shall not exceed beyond the actual booking. o The cottage shall remain accessible to the caretakers, property owners and police personnel during random patrolling at all times for inspection. It may be locked from inside while occupied but will remain open if moving out of the property. No house keys will be handed over to the guests at any time during the stay. o Guests are solely responsible to take care of their personal belongings. o Switch off the ACs when going out. o Switch off the Garden Lights before sleeping or when not in use. o Carry your own Towels, Toiletries, Insect Repellants, First Aid Kits, Consumables etc. o Please keep the Doors and Windows Closed to especially during evening to Avoid Mosquitoes and Insects entering the Cottage. Apply Mosquito Repellant while going out depending on the season and time. o Any damage to the property or belongings will have to compensated at the replacement cost. o The potable water is high on TDS and processed through Reverse Osmosis only for Drinking. Tap water might seem hard to some for hair wash which needs to be taken note of. o House cleaning (Floor Sweeping and Mopping) will be done once in a day. Any additional facilities like washing of utensils, clothes, cooking can be discussed with the caretaker separately for an additional charge directly payable to them. o Linen is changed once before the check-in for short stay of up to 7 days. For long stay of more than 7 days, the Linen will be changed once every week. o No Power Backup: Power outage may occur for a couple of hours during your stay. We do not have provision for power back up. o Common Areas are under CCTV Surveillance. o Strict adherence to the Check-in and Check-out Time is requested to ensure sufficient time to clear up the premises before subsequent guests. o Any suspicious activity will be reported to the nearest police station without prior intimation or warning. Disclaimer: This is a non contractual, non binding, short term home stay on good faith basis that the guests are law abiding citizens and will not engage in any unlawful or destructive activity. The guests have no authority whatsoever during the entire period of stay and can be evicted from the premises on immediate basis without any prior intimation merely on suspicion of unruly or illegal behaviour. Any further correspondence towards resolution or mitigation shall be routed through Airbnb platform only.
