Superb 3 bedroom barn conversion with large gardens, play areas and seasonal 10 x 5m swimming pool. Our donkeys Maman and Crémeux will be delighted to meet you. They like to be fed the occasional carrot! Perfect for families we are located in a peaceful rural location, surrounded by fields of sunflowers and within easy reach of local towns and restaurants. There is a wide variety of activities and attractions and places to explore in the area. The space Gite 'Le Poirier' is spacious with a double bedroom, two twin bedrooms, a family shower room and WC on the first floor. The ground floor has a fully fitted kitchen including a dishwasher and a washing machine. There is also a large pellet burner in the lounge. The cottage has its own private terrace with dining table and parasol. The shared gardens are perfect for games and relaxing and include the swimming pool, pétanque pitch, swings and slides. There is also table tennis, a pool table and table football. The donkeys like to be fed dandelions and the occasional carrot! Perfect for a relaxing break and within easy reach of the local towns, supermarkets and restaurants, the nearest being 8-10 minutes by car. There are a wide variety of attractions, activities and places to visit in the area. These include Zoodysée, La vallée des Singes, Futuroscope, Aquascope and Puy du Fou.. Walking and Cycling are very popular around here, with amazing countryside and wildlife to explore from the many kms of white tracks through sunflower fields. The large gardens, play areas and swimming pool are shared between the two gites. The pool is seasonal and the opening hours are 10:00 to 21:00 Other things to note The bedding, bathroom towels and tea towels are provided. Guests need to bring their beach towels for the swimming pool during the summer. Check-in is only permitted between 4 pm and 10 pm on the first day of the reservation; guests must indicate their expected arrival time, which must fall within this time slot. Check-out is by 10 am on the last day of the rental period. This Gite is for a maximum of 6 people, including children and babies. There is a pellet wood burner in the cottage for heating in the winter months and a quantity of pellets are supplied upon arrival. Please ask if a cot, a high chair or a bed rail are required, and tell us which bedroom to install the cot/bed rail in prior to arrival. If the cot needs to be moved to a different bedroom during the stay, the guest must ask the host to move it for them. A fitted sheet is provided for the baby cots, please bring your baby's own blankets/duvet. Please note we DO NOT allow parties, extra visitors or events at our gites, and expect guests to be considerate with regard to noise in the evenings.
