The ferry is two hours away from the Rafina port in Athens which is located 25 minutes from the Athens airport. Upon arrival in Andros there is another 30 minute drive to the capital of Andros, Hora and then there is a 10 minute walk or electric vehicle transport to the Kamara House which is the last house of the island. Andros is an island with a very interesting history of more than 3500 years. The Andros town, Hora, is considered the Greek Cycladic islands Art center with archeological and modern art museums, art galleries, exhibitions and many other cultural and artistic events. Andros unlike all other Cycladic islands is also an island with a lot of water, rivers and waterfalls, all located in newly restored ancient trekking paths that can be approached in walking distance from the town.
