The space Location The house is situated within walking distance (1,7 Km) of the harbor and picturesque fishing village of Elea (or Elia) in Laconia. Built in the middle of an olive grove, it offers an exceptional view to the Laconic gulf, the Mani peninsula and the Taygetos mountain. The garden and olive grove is fully fenced (6.000 sq. meters), well off the main road Elea – Molaoi. It is accessed by a 300 meters track to an electric gate. It is situated 8 Km away from Molaoi, the seat of the municipality and 30 Km from the medieval city of Monemvasia. The distance from Athens is 290 Km (3½ hours drive), from Kalamata airport 150 Km (2 hours) and from Sparta 58 Km (50 minutes). Apartment highlights The apartment has 2 rooms, a kitchen and a bathroom. The first room is a 17 m² bedroom furnished with a queen-size bed (160 cm wide), 2 nightstands, a wall-size wardrobe, a table and 2 chairs. The second room is a 25,5 m² Suite comprised of two separate areas (sleeping and sitting). The sleeping area of the Suite is furnished with 2 single beds (forming one king-size bed, 180 cm wide, when joined), 1 nightstand, a wardrobe, a closet and 1 drawer-cabinet. A fireplace and a built-in coach are in the sitting area, furnished with a sofa bed (140 cm wide when opened), a coffee table and chairs. Both rooms are equipped with ceiling fans (operated via remote control), smoke detectors and TV sets and room-darkening shades. The kitchen is fully equipped with side-by-side refrigerator, electric stove with oven, kettle, kitchenware, silverware, dishes, glasses, pots, etc, and, furnished with sink, floor & wall cabinets, drawers and kitchen hood over the stove. Also the bathroom has a shower, toilet, washbasin on a cabinet and a wall-cabinet with outside mirror over the washbasin. All the outside doors and windows of the flat have fly-screens. Guest access Both rooms can reach a private veranda, furnished with dining table, a large built in coach and armchairs. They may also use the main terrace (about 70 m²), located between the house and the BBQ facilities, with various seating areas.
