Luxurious Dorset village suite for two. Quality conversion of a listed stone barn into a completely equipped self-catering suite in the Dorset AONB. A couple of miles south west of Dorchester Washing Pool Barns are in the heart of Martinstown village, just a one minute walk from the local pub and maybe five minutes walk to the village store and post office. Bridleways, cycle routes and public footpaths are on the doorstep with the Jurassic coastline around five miles further south. The space Washing Pool House is a listed Elizabethan farmhouse with adjacent barns. As is typical in this part of Dorset the dairy farmer sold off the original village farmhouse and buildings some time ago and built himself more modern barns and a home outside the village. The old farmhouse and barns have just undergone a complete renovation with premium quality fittings; the farmhouse is our home and the stone barn now houses two completely self contained holiday suites, the Hayloft and the Cowshed. The Hayloft has a cooking/dining/lounge area fully equipped with double oven, hob, dishwasher, washer/dryer and pod coffee maker. The bedroom area has a super king size, handmade Vi Spring bed with Egyptian cotton linen and down duvet (synthetic duvet available on request). From the bedroom there is a characterful shower room and walk-in wardrobe. A local welcome pack with your first breakfast, water, coffee and tea is provided. Washing Pool Barns comprises two entirely independent suites, the Hayloft and the Cowshed, both listed independently on AirBnB, or bookable as a pair under the Washing Pool Barns listing.
